The UI can use a little help, like a back button to leave settings screen, leaderboard screen etc, also I was unable to find the joystick for ball movement, Though I really like your concept, It's a bit hard to move the ball through the maze even in easy mode (atleast for me) but it is a fun experience. NICELY DONE!!!

I don’t think the maze that was generated for me the first time I played was possible with the physics I was provided. I couldn’t get into one of the gaps no matter how hard I tried… Interesting concept and a very creative one at that, but certainly needs lots of refinement.

As a rule, I don't find mazes very fun, since they're more of an arbitrary challenge than they are an actual puzzle, and the physics toy idea isn't quite interesting enough to make up for it in my opinion. It's an interesting idea though, and having the randomly generated mazes of varying complexities is a nice touch. Is the description AI generated?

Fun game, but I  had a lot of trouble getting into some of the "floating gaps" . Solid execution on your idea though!

Nice concept. Reminds me of the old circular puzzles I had on my geometry box. But the controlling the rotation is very hard. The puzzle's level design is such that I need to do full 180 flip instantly at the right moment which is very difficult with the set rotation speed. It would be nice if you could tweak the rotation mechanics (maybe add button controls for it too) and add some simple beginner levels to get players into the groove. It'll be a fun game with a lit bit more work. Keep it up!

It's cool in a way, but it was too hard for me ;(

I think it's a very fun game overall. I think it needs some refinement on the movement controls. It's not super intuitive on PC and maybe being able to drag and move the maze directly (still limited to rotation ofc) would be good. The UI for the "pause menu" also does not scale properly. It gives me the same vibe of a couple of my childhood toys, which I like. Good game with room to grow. You should be proud of this game.

The controls on the phone was not that good. Overall a good game. Liked your game. Please rate mine https://coolsushnata.itch.io/juniperdevjam

Cool little idea, I had difficulty with the UI and the controls seemed unresponsive. I was using the embedded browser player.

This game feels like an interesting concept that has potential! I had a few issues that prevented me from being able to play it as intended though:

  • the UI seems to be stuck way too big, and there isn’t keyboard navigation to exit it manually (so you have to reload). I think the browser canvas also forced the board to be super small. (I’m going to assume this is a browser issue)

  • for some reason the ball had really sticky physics, where it just wouldn’t fall through unless you were incredibly slow. This was kinda painful since I have a high DPI mouse (and mice are already a lot faster than fingers).

  • the colours of the maze are a bit muted, which was a little bit of an issue for me since my vision can get blurry. I would really recommend making the ending have some bright glow effect (or similar) for both visual flair and accessibility.

Overall, I think if there was just a little more visual design, and maybe if the physics were made to be more ‘forgiving’ of turn corrections, I would have enjoyed the experience a lot more, which is good!

I think this means you have a path to a nice small app without having to put in much more work from here.

Thank your for your feedback, ill adjust the physics abit and the ui issues were caused by the fact that the game is supposed to be played in potrait mode but the canvas decided to peace out fsr, and yea the colors are defo too muted
