What a ride! I saved the company, but at what cost! Had so much fun gambling my fortune, even won the jackpot! Great game!

Who would have thought that saving companies from bankruptcy is so easy... and trippy! If I had known it before playing this game, I would have done it all day long! This game can teach you about the benefits of gambling in corporate business management. That's some serious educational value!
Hello! I've played your game for a while and I have some feedback!
- I like that your upgrades are listed on the left, but you kinda still just have to remember what they do. It would be nice if you could click them or hover them to see.
- It would be nice to be able to skip the opening dialogue if you go back to the menu and hit play again.
- I don't know what the 3 above the bet bar means? 3x your normal bet would have been my guess but on a new run the normal bet is 20 and the top of the bar is 70 so it's not that I don't think.
- Sometimes the dialogue doesn't make total sense. The accountant said something like "At least we didn't lose money" when I rolled an x2 once.
- I like that every shop upgrade comes with a negative! This is especially good because it doesn't take very long for their actual costs to be negligible.
- My 'winning' strategy was to only take upgrades that reduced red spaces and ignore everything that increased them.
- I don't totally understand 'Global X2'. I get that it multiplies every spin after that but, for how long? I wasn't paying attention and it reset. Maybe when the target changes but I found it hard to test since it's RNG to get it in the first place.
- Items didn't seem to give their effect right away? I got the one that changed your bomb space into a 1X space, but I swear it didn't actually change until I did another spin or two?
- Having a 'Win' or 'Lose' screen instead of just the popup would be cool. I get that this was probably a time constraint thing.
- Having shop items you can't afford be transparent looked visually confusing to me the first time I opened the shop.
- It seemed a bit easy to me. I did 2 runs and I won both by just max betting every time. I know this is heavily RNG dependent though.
- Maybe this was a bug that hit me but once I got into the billions it would not let me bet above 2.something billion on a single spin anymore. Additionally, the bar on the right kept adjusting with my total money so it looked like my bet was getting smaller and smaller even though I literally could not bet more if I wanted to.
- And I did want to.
- I don't remember exactly what the number was but I'd guess it was 2147483647 because it was saved as an int?
And that's my thoughts on this one. Overall it was fun! I hope I came off as constructive rather than negative, I try to offer ways to improve to every game I rate.
I'm financially ruined, how will I ever recover from this:

(Oh, the max bet number is 2.14b, it's in that screenshot)
Have a wonderful day and good luck in the Jam!
Pretty cool game, I liked the feeling of gambling away all of the company savings on a hail mary that backfired. 10/10 realistic gameplay.
It was a bit sad when I kept hitting 1x over and over at the start, and I never actually hit a bomb, but once I was able to not hit that 1x, it got better haha. Also, it would be nice if the intro didn't play on retries! And some of the upgrade text overfilled and went behind the buy button.
yo thanks for playing it, and ngl i took the inspiration for the whole game idea from an irl story XD i think it was the fedex owner gambling his company's last savings in order to save it, when he gambled around 20k he actually managed to win and get 70k lol, therefore giving a new hope to the company and saving it to become what it became now
and you're right the luck could be a lil bad :') but i think you were def lucky but not getting a bomb at all lol (its chance is prob 2% i think?), and yes i was going to make it that the tutorial dialogue not appear again but i didn't have enough time to do that since the tutorial was a last min addition lol, and yeah sometimes the upg description text overlaps cuz it's too long even tho i tried fixing it by making the text auto size
3002.61B! I may have tanked my first two companies (didn't realize I could adjust my bets using the bar on the right, oops), but my third, we went to the moon! No, past it, TO THE STARS! If you wanted to keep working on this game, I think one thing to look at is the readability of some of the text, specifically in the upgrade window. A few times the description was too long so it couldn't be read as it overlapped the price. But other than that, very fun for a quick playthrough!
yoo 3k billion is insane, good job really, well atleast we learned from our mistakes in the first 2 companies XD
and yes there are some bugged texts on the upgrades cuz they were too long sadly, even tho i tried fixing it by making them auto resize yk, but ig it wasn't enough :')
but thanks for playing and glad you enjoyed it B)
GAMBLING IS COOOOOL
In the end, I've kindof just bought every single thing and managed to get to almost 3k bilion :D
Even though I somehow won, I still have no idea how rounds work and when they change, but other than that - pretty intuitve, gambling inducing game. It was great!
EDIT: Small issue though, the bet amount is capped at 2147483647 (max int value), which makes end game and endless mode pretty hard to scale :C
yoo thanks for the feedback bro B) 99% of gamblers quit before hitting big, and you were the 1% ;)
you're right about not understanding how rounds work, should've explained that i the tutorial better (cuz tbf the tutorial was a last min addition :') ), but in general rounds work this way: you have a round target to hit, for example 1k, when you pass that you get to the next round, and that's it basically lol
the bet amount being capped was kinda unintentional at first, but then i decided to keep it as i felt it adds more challenge for the endless mode, and that's by making you buy and rely more on upgrades, cuz when done right, you can reach FARRR beyond that
but still thanks for playing it :)
Oh wow, I didn't expect for so much depth in a jam entry! love the upgrades and the fact there's an endless mode, but i'd have also liked some upgrades that let you remove slices, at some point my wheel became unreadable with hundreds of slices on it. Also text could use outlines to be more easily readable, as there's a lot of light colors and the text being white does not help.
Also, the 0x slices seem to be much more of a downside than getting hit by a bomb, maybe that should have been the actual fail state?
yo thanks for playing and glad you enjoyed it! all your points are valid as i was very close to implementing the "remove slice" upgrade but sadly time caught up to me :') i tried to combat the "unreadable wheel" by the text "you got: something something" but ig it wasn't enough, and wdym exactly by the last part? like wdym with the "actual fail state"?
First off, I did in fact notice the text at the bottom telling me what I got exactly, and it is nice, but I still believe removing slices and having a limit on the amount of slices to add would have been nice.
Secondly, the game's current way to lose is by losing all your lives from bomb slices, but after a few spins I had so much money I could just buy a lot of the upgrades that let me get around the bombs, so they become a non-problem, and I was more worried about the slices that took away my money like the "0x" slice, which I found to be way more of a threat (and thus would have been more interesting to me if I lost when I lost all my money)
ohh nice yeah i get what you mean, and yes you're right, but you are actually able to lose if you lose all money, like for example you can lose by having 0 spins left while you still didn't meet the target, or you can actually lose if you lost all money but i think that doesn't happen often cuz you need to bet all of your money like 100% and lose it all on a bomb slice (and yes bomb slices act like a 0x slice too), but yes i think having a 0x slice from the start would've been a lil better to add higher stakes to the game
This is such a fun game, I was only planning to spend a small amount of time on it, and then I look down and i have been spinning for an hour. Neat little concept and very polished! well done!
THIS IS SO FUN!! the visuals and audio are amazing, and this is fueling my gambling addiction lmao. its super fun to play, and can get super stressful at times when spins are low.
Enjoyment: It was nice, but I didn’t understand when the ending was coming. Since there’s a lot of information on the screen but there are few labels, or they’re not descriptive/clear enough, I struggled to understand what each of them meant, and which one was the final goal (because “target” sure wasn’t it, since it kept increasing).
Creativity: There are other games about gambling. One thing I like about this one is it’s completely nuts in terms of visuals and music and the little dog boss. However creative artwork shouldn’t come at the expense of health and safety, which is also one of the reasons why I am giving the “visuals” only 3 stars.
Visuals: They’re cute and crazy and and that’s fun. What I think is I would like to see settings to let people play with safer visuals. So…
- A background that has that pattern, but it doesn’t move.
- A calmer background without this kind of pattern. If you were to use the pattern;
- Other colors for the spinning wheel (red and green are very flashy as they spin, so it’s going to be flashy and dangerous)
- Also I wouldn’t make the game page background this pattern, I would make the pattern less contrasting and also not moving.
In terms of other accessibility things with the visuals:
- the “X” (for times) should be lower case to help it be more distinguishable as a multiplier;
- Some text is low contrast, like the white text on orange+black pattern.
- The font can be a little hard to read when it has the $ dollar sign, because it looks like the number 5 :thinking-emoji:
Seriousness: The upgrade confusion I had (not understanding what the reroll meant, not understanding what the final goal is, how investors work, there these things ended up adding up a little bit to lower the rating to 3 starts, but yeah I think overall it’s a fun game.
Combos feel nice, and number go up! 10/10
I had a little trouble understanding what number I landed on when a lot of wedges were added. I wish it was a little more difficult :) but I enjoyed playing
Very cool game ,
I loved it personally , i started with the worst luck of all time and first 2 games i only got 1x but then i got 2x and 5x and at that point i started upgrading the non risky upgrades and added another 10x and a 100x and a 20x and another 20x and i was becoming so rich and i choose double bet amount upgrade and life was so good and i won i continued in endless mode and i gambled oh i love gambling and then i got 240 billion but max bet amount was 2 billion so i lost
Very peak , also lowk gives an undertale / deltarune vibes , especially that dog
Very peak game and i enjoyed it
yessir glad you enjoyed gambling like a real boss B)
yes the luck can be a lil bad but once you get a good run going it gets really interesting ;) ;)
and yes once you reach the max bet amount you gotta start rely more on upgrades, and yeah i felt the urge to include the annoying dog as the accountant to the game XD
Good game! But I didn’t feel like I was in much control…
The shop options all felt high risk, high reward for me and as someone who likes to play neutral, I had to depend on luck quite a lot… Maybe it’s just a skill issue though!
yo thanks for playing the game, how exactly you felt you weren't in much control, cuz i thought the upgrades job was doing just that lol, and yes "most" of the upgrades are high risk high reward, but i did include some ones that are neutral, maybe you just didn't come across them :') like one of the most op ones imo is the extra spin, which is pretty neutral tbf lol
Just did another playthrough where I tried my best to utilize the shop. Even took up a few things that had a decent risk. Getting more money was easier, but I lost because I rolled “x1” 7 out of 8 times… Even with good money management, I ran out of spins.
Maybe I could’ve utilized some upgrade that would’ve helped me survive for longer, but the run was kinda dead after the 7th “x1” spin. This was despite the fact that I had quite a few positive slices added to the wheel from the shop. Similarly, I could’ve landed on the “bomb” slice many times in a row at any moment.
Even with good utilization of the shop, the player’s run can be completely upended by things they can’t control! I still left a good review for the game, this is just a critique I wanted to leave in the comments!
no dw i consider every feedback, and i do get what you mean, but lemme ask you smth, did you come across the jackpot upgrade and the extra spins upg? those 2 alone can get you insane runs, and you can get more and more of them as you progress more into endless mode, but still there might something missing, but i think since i didn't add upgrades that increases other slice's chance that could've been it, cuz the only upg that does that thing is the double jackpot upg, but still thanks for playing the game :)
very enjoyable game. it has a very spamton vibe that i really appreciate. not sure if i was just unlucky or if the economy is slightly overtuned but i had to get a jackpot to even attempt to get past the first "level".
Edit: returning after being informed about the bet slider on the right. i LOVE this game. i think my only note would literally be to make the bet slider more obvious lol
What a cool and fun game :D
That was my first idea aswell :D Make a wheel of luck that u can upgrade with new parts and a quota u need to hit. It's cool for me to see how well u made this one. I love the little guy. How exited he is into his job.
Really good job on his animations and dialogues, and how he actually is reacting on the stuff that is going on :D
