Great game! Shooting did feel a little slow for my liking but the game plays great and looks great. The music did get a little repetitive though
Hey! A fellow magic revolver game. This was so fun and i really enjoyed it and love the gameplay and look of the game so much. One thing id quite like is if you could remove bullets as well as add them so that the player can have less randomness and control the chances of what bullets you will be likely to fire
I had a lot of fun with this! My two main pieces of feedback are that the music loop felt a bit short/repetitive, and it might be fun to let the player see the upcoming bullet and/or store a bullet for later use, similar to Tetris.
Hmm.. on web version i start drifting to the right after the first shot, but that issue is not there when the game is downloaded :)
To further go into the spinning theme, I think it would have been great to spend more time to the revolver bullets. Why the spin, if every bullet is great? What does spinning even mean as there are 6 Bullets shown, but I have way more equipped? The Art style is great, and the gameplay is solid, but the game is easy with its OP bullets and I feel that something like cursed bullets with a drawback also shown in the ammo would have made the spin more exciting, right now its more of a reload animation for me. Still for a week, a very great start!
Fun game! I enjoyed the shooting and movement a lot, and I also liked the monster design. I think the game would benefit from the rounds spawning a bit less enemies, as the time between upgrades felt fairly long, especially early game. But like I said, great game!
Puh. That was some grind to get that meta achievement xD
But ur game had a verry juicy gun play. Good hit feedback and a nice style so it was okay for me to keep grinding it :D
I think with some more movement mechanics, a bit bigger map and yea overall more movability for the player this could become a pretty cool action shooter.
Good work on that :)
Very cool game idea. But shooting felt a bit... too simple? The spinning part of the game is a random chance wheel of fortune type. I believe this idea has hidden potential and maybe you could change it up after the jam ends, for example by adding some variety, or by giving more control to the player.
Please check out our game, we had a very similar idea but a totally different game. Feedback would be much appriciated <3
Super cool visuals, and I like the idea but it got repetitive quite quickly with the same enemy type and level.
The gunplay itself felt good, and it was satisfying when the more dynamic bullets paid off like opening shot and lightning.
Impacts, physics and gunplay feels enjoyable, but i feel that bigger enemy variation would make the gameplay deeper. Good entry!
This game is really fun and the art style is perfect!
I like the different bullet types but I wish you could see the bullets as you shoot them with unique visuals and shooting sounds
also some more enemy types would be nice
The amount of monsters made me SERIOUSly scared. This was so
FUNGUN!I am so glad I decided to try the download of this. Just a heads up, for me the web version is busted: it runs but the mouse doesn't clamp in the game so I basically could only turn a small bit without having to do some advanced mouse-fu to get my mouse back controlling the player.
But I decided to check out the downloaded version, which is not only playable but enjoyable! I think this is a good jam game that can be iterated on and get something special with more development time! I think some player upgrades like additional speed or reload time would be nice in addition to extra bullets.
The browser issue never happened to me while testing this, might be that you need to toggle fullscreen on/off? Glad you ended up enjoying it, though! I wanted to keep the scope as small as I could for the jam, but I do agree that broader upgrades could be fun in a potential post-jam version.
This is just amazing! I love the art style gameplay is interesting. Wow Im seriously in love with this entry
Awesome!
Visual and controls were on point good job ! I obviously would more diverse ennemies, I think I did 228, at the end it was a bit repetitive to just circle around the level while shooting backwards :) but it's a jam game. I love the random mechanics and love your take on the theme. Solid entry ! Would love to see an update on this
LOVED the visual aesthetic and lining up a lightning shot for a group of enemies. Journey of the prairie king but awesome.
Cool game, good variety on the different bullet types, creative! One enemy got stuck outside the map and ended my run sadly. I like the art direction, good stuff.
Thank you! I’ve tried my best to optimize enemy pathfinding, but these things can still happen when you’ve got a lot of them spawning, I suppose.
The game name reminds me the GUN game on ps2 ! The fps controls are great the shooting feels could be better but we're getting use to it ! Great game overall !
Thank you! I’ll have to check that game out!
Fun game, I like the idea of different bullets. The visuals are really cool too. My only criticism is that the game felt too easy to me because of the lack of enemy variety. All I had to do really was loop them in circles and I wouldn't die. Also, I found the music repetitive after a few minutes of playing. But still, I enjoyed the game it is very good. :)
Thanks, and that’s a fair criticism. I really wanted to add more enemy types but had to prioritize some other stuff due to time. Glad you enjoyed it!
This is really cool. I like the music, the low-poly graphics, and especially the color scheme. I did notice some lag early on but maybe it smoothed out when everything was loaded?
More enemy types would be a nice way to force some strategizing with different shot types. And I would have liked more visuals for the shot types, like if I could see the lightning arc between nearby enemies. But I'm just nitpicking.
