SECRET ENDING TOO HARD, play this game
at the cost of your lifeto get the SECRET ENDINGNeat game, following the path was satisfying although I wish there were more obstacles
super simple, but got pretty intense as the speed ramped up! the quick scrolling started to make my head spin a little lmao. nice work!
Good Game ! And good idea ! Really good job !
I got to some very crazy speed, but couldn't find the secret ending, probably didn't please the shareholders that much haha. I really enjoyed it, simple and easy to understand, I played using my mouse as It seemed easier to control at higher speeds.
Switching the input mode to follow mouse definitely makes it a lot easier to get further.
My head is a blur after reaching over 1280mph.
Super catchy bg music too!
I had a really hard time focusing at a certain point, and eventually just sat there and let the score die, but there was an amount of time I was in a sort of flow state for sure. Music is nice too. Could've used more variation than just following the line of diamonds, maybe an easier line of gems that give less points, maybe diverging paths, maybe powerups, but for a jam game it's pretty neat!
SPEEEEEEED. This is a great game idea and needs some things like power ups (slow down time, drill clone), maybe music that matches whether the diamonds are going up or down, that would be a rad edition too cause then it's like a rhythm game. Does get dizzy at its current stage but fair, challenging, and made me play multiple times.
Really dig the music, remind me of old sega games. It was also fun just seeing it keep speeding up while wondering how fast it could actually get. I think a particle effect for whenever hitting the diamonds might be satisfying to watch.
I wish making money was this easy...
That was very fun! It got super quick and chaotic but it added to the overall game. I like how the gems seemed to always follow each other so there weren't points where you jumped from one side to the other, it was more focused on micro adjustments and reaction timing. Great game!
iits funny :)
Great job with the implementation and polish, an enjoyable side scrolling miner simulator 10/10 ! Would've liked more severance though as mining at 12000 MPH is defnitely a special skill!
Actually really fun concept! i reached 201200 depth xD the gradual speed increase was really satisfying, also i noticed the subtle thing that the diamond generation tries to be in a continuous line! well done
The default viewport size is tiny, you can fix this in itch's game settings. The music was good. I feel like the game play was too simple, you could have added obstacles to avoid while slowing down the drill. Maybe offered upgrades like a larger drill. All in all, a fun little game, but it could be more.
thanks for the recommendations! i modified the viewport size to be more accessible for now.
I love the simple games like this where you can get right into the action without confusion. The music remind me of mighty morphing power rangers theme. Classic arcadey experience, good job!
i forgot to add this to the description but there is an alternate ending in this game. try to find it if you dare
Great simple game play loop, especially within the constraints of a jam! Nice implementation and interpretation of the theme. I appreciate the digs at big corops lol
Above 1000mph it becomes a little chaotic!
I like the overall concept and implementation.
Some game feel/juice could really improve the experience!
Thanks for playing and the feedback!
Loved the music! I think adding events, upgrades or obstacles would improve the gameplay.
