The visuals and atmosphere are just incredible. Its a bit confusing at first but overall great job!

The visuals are beautiful, you can really see how much effort went into the details (the tree animation!!!). It turned out really atmospheric.

Very short, but very sweet. Loved the aesthetics and the mood, the lose state being a lose state and how the jump out of the glide works could have both been communicated a little better, but for such a short experience it didn't really matter. Very nice job!

Very nice atmosphere, I don't know why but I'm always expecting a twist with these sorts of simple object oriented experiences lol. I almost didn't beat the game because I hadn't realized the fail state was actually a fail state, it triggered right as I touched the transformer so I just thought that was the end, thankfully I went again and got the ending. Its a pretty solid start to game development!

love the artstyle....like other i was so confused on what to do after reaching the bus w=but i got it after reading the comments here....

Cool game, I like the silhouette artstyle! I think the fail timer is a bit strict and I wish there was a warning that it was coming. For a first game while learning to code (and do game art), I'm very impressed.

saw your message on disc! i wanted to say that i loved the atmosphere and the movement of this game. i wish it didn't end prematurely and we could take as much time as we wanted to linger in this universe, but i understand why you did it. i think it could also be cool to have more things to read/interact w on the way if you wanted to lean into the story/atmosphere element fully; imo i don't think there's anything wrong w not being a traditional game or a walking sim as long as u commit to the story!!

I did it! I didn't realize at first that you were SUPPOSED to glide up and release on the "double jump" prompt, and it was a little rough with each new thing being a "what do I do here" but given how quick it was, that wasn't a real problem once I overcame the "hold jump to go up" thing. Nicely done otherwise, my only improvement would be to maybe make the text for space x 2 hint at needing the glide up?  Otherwise, great art and sound too.

I love the art and atmosphere! I liked the gliding, even if I did it too much to the point where I'd run out of time. I also really liked the cute song that plays.
Short and sweet :)

Really cool concept! I saw some images on Discord of certain assets while you were working on them, and it's so great to see the finished game!

Congratulations on this result!

The game is a really nice, more fun flying holding spacebar lol

Also really felt the Limbo vibes. Great atmo, sound, music, art, feel! Wish it was longer!

I played this during development before it had the ticking clock and I think it worked better as a mood piece rather than a race. The floaty movement is great for the vibe but frustrating when you're trying to complete the game in a hurry, and I don't think that's the energy the game is going for.

yeah, the "fail" ending was added as a bit of an afterthought last minute, I was concerned that it was a bit of a boring walking simulator(plus I thought of the idea for the cutscene of the windmill overloading and really wanted to include that concept) I definitely went into the making of this with a clear idea of the vibes/atmosphere but no idea how to incorporate any kind of interesting gameplay into that. definitely a learning experience.

You can really tell how much care went into crafting the quality and atmosphere of the background elements—especially the rain, grass, and buildings. I managed to clear the game successfully!

I liked the atmosphere of the game, although I did not understand the gameplay, the impact of clicking does not feel very good, although it is possible that this is part of the game.

Holding Right against the wind felt surprisingly immersive. I failed several times but that made finally reaching the door feel like a genuine victory. The sequence at the end had me in a good panic. I like the Wind and Rain Effects. I remember that Lantern from the Discord, so that put a smile on my face. :)

Absolutely incredible visuals, remind me of Limbo. Really good ambience also. All of this sadly comes at the price of gameplay, I don't really see the theme that well, and found the game a bit clunky. A good game either way!

Excellent visuals, much like Limbo. The shadowy style looks very good. The wind noise is a bit loud over the music, but is good ambience. A bit harsh on the timing, it took me only a few tries, but I'd still add 10-15 sec I think. Overall I liked it a lot, first game I completed!

This game is a work of art, though like a work of art, it sacrifices gameplay for beauty. Idk how i struggle d so bad with the game lmao took like 20-30 attempts to just walk to the right because the gliding was kinda unreliable.. Epic visuals though

Developer

yeah difficulty seems to be a common theme from these comments😅i guess I just had muscle memory down because I was worried about it being too easy, which is why the timer is really close.

I reallly like the art, like limbo, and the music and sounds, I didn't know how to solve it; I would appreciate it if you made a video explaining it.
