Hello! I have finished your game and I have some feedback for you!

  • I really appreciate the accessibility options and the motion sickness warning at the start! Always good to design for accessibility!
  • I thought it was really cute how the levers at the end of each level just change the level around you instead of taking you to a loading screen! Felt like you're in a cool changing labyrinth or something!
  • The red/blue zones felt a bit odd to me. I eventually puzzled out that they add to your momentum in one direction, but not so much that you can't still move in the other direction. Which is cool, and made for some good platforming bits in some areas when they're pushing you towards spikes, but in other areas where there's no threat they just felt like unnecessary slowdown? I don't know how to explain it exactly.
  • Anywhere where there's a really long drop, such as the end of level 2, it's possible to completely leave the screen. Not entirely sure if I like that? It's a bit cute I suppose but also made me a bit anxious I was going to hit some spikes that were offscreen or something.
  • I appreciated the 'Done' text on the different paths on level 3 so I didn't go down one I'd already finished!
    • Similarly, I appreciated that dying before making it back to a checkpoint does not reset any flipped switches.
  • The flag sprite is really well done! Seems a bit more detailed than everything else in the game, for some reason.
  • This game is very serious, you can tell because the player character is in a suit.

I think that's all my thoughts on this one. Cool idea and execution! I hope my feedback doesn't come off as too negative, I'm trying to be constructive.

Have a wonderful day and good luck in the Jam!

There were a lot of pretty fun and challenging levels! But I think adding in a bit more complexity would make things even more interesting. If you had some dynamic objects that, much like the player were also affect by the rotating room I think that would add some extra challenge! Also, I think game would feel a lot more responsive if it had more sound effects. That being said I did really enjoy playing your game!

I think this game could work way better as a speedrunning game, as out of all the world spin games this one is definetly the fastest feeling one! Had fun even with the current levels though

It is cool and addictive gameplay and I cleared all the levels even though I was feeling dizzy at first. I think adding a delay/lag in camera rotation can help making it less dizzy.

The spinning platformer mechanic and idea is great! The checkpoints are placed well too! I think the biggest issue is the motion sickness of it all, but not sure how to address it.

Super cool game. I love the spinning mechanic

Genuinely love it, great idea and executed well. Good level design! My only note would be to reduce or remove the inertia with turning the board, which would allow for more precision. Was glad to play on stream!

such an unique game! I really like the concept of this game.

This was a cool game! I liked the inclusion of gravity fields. They made the game a lot more complex and I had to think a little before spinning the map so I would avoid the spikes. I'd only suggest adding a few more sound effects to elevate the experience. A sliding and falling sound effect that increases in volume the faster you are moving would provide a good amount of player feedback, especially on the stretches where all you can see are straight walls and have no idea how fast you are moving until you hit the floor. Otherwise, a solid submission! Nicely done :)

Feeling dizzy spinning the stage for too long. But this is a nice game, the checkpoint locations are very generous and appropriate.

I love the approach to the theme, rotation felt really responsive and the transition between levels was a really cool approach. Art was also very simple and clear, making it easy to orient yourself while spinning the level. Great job!

Definitely nauseating, I'm glad it only has three levels so far lol. The idea is great though, I wonder if it could help if the player didn't spin with it, and most importantly always stayed centered. Having the camera be more smooth is a ncie feature for many games, but in this case I think it was more disorienting and gives your eyes no place to focus, because the actual center point always moves around the place depending on orientation AND momentum. I also wonder if making the world start rotating slower and speed up would help ease the brain into it

Wonderful idea and execution, but the spinning was too much for me. I really appreciate the warning!

First of all, I really appreciated the motion sickness warning at the beginning of the game! That was very considerate of you. I loved the simple yet challenging nature of the game, and the level design kept everything feeling fresh. Awesome job!
