The art is really nice and the gameplay loop is quite addicting. Good job ^^
I think you should add more music track, the gameplay loop is fun tho
I think I didn't get this game. Mostly I just clicked the attack button.
Having said that, art direction is good, but gameplay needs some work. Also the over quick level progression is a problem.
Love this twist on deckbuilding! The visuals and audio are all great. I really like the suspense when waiting for the wheel to stop spinning :)
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! I loved the wheel. I bet this is a mentally hard game to balance, I was heavily addicted and played for a good twenty minutes, thats a good sign! Really cool and even though I was very overhwlemed by information I didnt care, i just wanted to press...that....spin....one....more ......OOOOOOOOOOOO AHHHHH!
Just one more spin...
Also the art is to die for
Thank you
This is a really good well polished game. whatever you gave, you gave polished so I appreciate that. We both had similar idea for the game. I loved how you impleted the wheel mechanics in the game. Now having the similar game if I say critically then a better UI would help, otherwise the increase of stats and other stats are barely noticable, I could not tell If I'm getting stronger or enemies are getting stronger or not. Abit of story would help alot, btw that's just personal preference because I myself invest in story alot. Overall a great entry.. Good job!!
Thank you so much, if I may, I will also give criticism. I'd like to see a little more skill expression from your game, kinda personal preference, but I like games you can get good at. Otherwise, your game is also really polished.
Yes, I agree.. That's one aspect I didn't get time to work on.. But ya high five on the game idea XD
high five!
Good work!
art and polish feels good, good work on SFX and music.
the popups feel thrown up at our face after every action but overall amazing work! solid entry!
I enjoyed it a lot, I liked how the timing for the attack/items was different than the timing for spinning the wheel and you could do both at once, it gave the game a very dynamic feel. super good art and audio/music!
The game very fun and extremely on theme! Small question, how did you get this game done 7 days before the deadline in a 1 week game jam?
It was actually 8 days. And that stat is kinda fake, it tracks the first submission. I uploaded a build every single day, so that was the first submission, uploaded roughly 6-8 hours after the jam started.
Ohhhh, that makes a lot of sense then!
Woah really good submission!!!!! The audio is ASMR quality. Managed to survive 8 mins and over 60 monsters killed.
This game is an absolute treat, I love the bit of deckbuilding aspect to it, the rapid fire nature keeping the pace going constantly, and the art style is fantastic.
Thank you so much for playing this on stream!
I really love this. It looks so nice and there is enough there for me to see myself losing time working on builds. plus the theme is an ear worm
Cute game. I really like the zoom in on the wheel when you spin it, adds intensity.
Pretty cool! I would've preferred if the basic attack was triggered automatically, but overall there's a lot of depth into the game. Nice job!!
Great combination of fantasy RPG and a spinning wheel, it reminds me of Slots & Daggers. Addicting gameplay, I got to lvl 27 before moving on. Well done with the game!
Wow, that was surprisingly fun. It took me a little while to get into it, but then I was quickly hooked. Great work. It feels polished all around. I thought I could break the meta with Attack Speed and Vampirism, but it didn’t carry me that far.
An all-around successful game.
this is an amazing game, there was a lot of luck based spin wheeling games in this jam so i thought this would be boring but it was really fun, other than this art is also great i think, i liked this game a lot
I really like all the visuals and the game feel feeback you have in the game. Like the zooming in on the wheel ect. I played this for awhile and just zoned out as the numbers went up. I think that because there was only one attack option maybe the attack should have just happened automatically, or given the player an option like a dodge to lesson some of the enemy damage. Neet entry.
There's actually more options than the attack, if you go for items, and it gets quite chaotic. Thank you for playing.
That makes more sense.
It's... boring? There's a lot going on visually, but player input boils down to pressing a button when prompted. I half expected this to turn into a cookie clicker. The number-go-up dopamine hit kept me going for 10 minutes (much longer than I expected), but in the end this felt like something I'd find at a casino.
It's ironic that Juniper Dev asked people to stay away from gambling mechanics, yet there's an abundance of games that use all the classic slot machine addiction tricks.
There's actually a lot of strategy involved, but thank you. I value that opinion.
This game uses the theme fantastically.
The wheel you build yourself is a great way for the player to express themselves.
The constant flow back and forth between combat and upgrades was very well executed.
I loved that when I died it spun a wheel to potentially bring me back. This is good randomness!
Only receiving either positive or neutral effects from the wheel is very smart.
Too many of these games just kill your run on a coin flip.
Well designed and well made.
