The dizziness meter seemed too harsh, especially not being able to direct the movement when falling, and I felt pretty lost in the city. It felt like the answer (the park) was right there, but it had the warm air, and I couldn't plant the seed there, yet I couldn't see any other right place either. Wandered around and didn't see any fitting place either. It was a bit frustrating. The idea and the game are beautiful, but I think more relaxing controls would've fit better. Some more feedback would be that it could improve the experience by adding an indicator of how near the crosswinds and other types of areas are, because it's hard to tell the depth when you're almost there.

I see, maybe reducing the dizziness accumulation and increasing the player speed a bit more would've been better. In the city level, the park in front of the player does have a warm updraft so you need to go to the other park on the other side of the city. There are also other plantable areas as well around the city, marked with a green glow. Thanks for playing and the review!!
Such a creative take on the theme! I played on the browser version, but it still might be noteworthy that the city was REALLY laggy for me even when the village played fine. As a side effect of this, the wind noises became a bit samey over time.
On the final level, I planted myself in the snowy region, near the cabin.
I can't figure out how to get out of the first scene but it's a pretty game. Maybe there's supposed to be wind that I'm missing? But I go left and land on the ground over to the left with no fire and still die as apparently the ground's "hot", I can't make it past either of the glowing white rectangles (right and forwards), and going straight back keeps hitting me into buildings I can't see when I go backwards.
Thanks for the review! Maybe I should've sprinkled in a few more tutorials throughout the level. But in the first level, as soon as you spawn, if you look around a bit you'll see a glowing green light on the ground in the distance. You need to reach that. It is possible to reach it without using any wind, although it'll take quite a bit longer. Using the first orange rectangle (updraft) you can reach very high up, right at the start of the first white cylinder (crosswind). Going inside will quickly move you towards another crosswind. Just keep going into the nearest crosswinds to be flown very near to the green marker. Then it's just a matter of landing inside it.
Loved the peacfullness, and the ending is absolutely amazing. i love it
Hey you have to check out my game. We had the same idea! XD It was a joy playing yours and seeing some of the overlap in decisions. Beautifully done :)

I love the short story this game tells us, and its even quite sad but the artstyle wow im amazed you did that in 1 week
A sincerely beautiful game. You managed to pack so much emotional storytelling into the simple gameplay of this game in such an effective way that I feel like it would’ve expressed itself fully even with on dialogue. Really well done.
I enjoyed the game a lot. I love the environments in the game. Probably the best 3D game I've played in the jam so far.
This game is very beautiful! To have like an open world type of gam in this game jam is a breathe of fresh air. The effort you've put on the map and in the game overall is something I really do appreciate. It's also a very creative approach to spin to win mechanic with a twist of dizziness factor added. It was a pretty enjoyable game really! I understand it's hard to optimize the game with this much assets in browser so I just assumed it works properly on Windows when rating. Overall, it was really a great game and I see a lot of effort was put in this one. Good job and congratulations!
Sidenote: Before this, I was actually playing this 2d version of your game called Maply's adventure! https://sailoum.itch.io/maplys-adventure. I recommend you checking it out too HAHAHAHHAH
Nice game! I felt that moving around was quite slow and the game was also laggy but a super cool concept!
Yes that's a balancing issue. During playtesting, I was told to increase the player speed, which I did, but maybe I could've increased it a bit more. And as for the lag, I didn't have time for optimizations unfortunately. I did what i could, but the city level especially is still quite laggy. I think it's due to the outline shader I used, there are so many objects in the city scene that the outline shader really tanked the performance, trying to draw an outline around every single object.
That was a very cute little game. Planted the last seed up in the snowy area by the cabin.
I did lose at first because I didn't realize that wasd was a thing and thought it was just spacebar, but once I figured it out it was very chill
I love the concept, but the game needs some HEAVY optimization. the poly count on the city level is lagging my PC
I enjoyed it a lot I ended up planting myself in the campfire for the final level xD
