This was quite a game...

...

...brother.

Great game. Honse! was victorious, but at what cost. If the game hadn’t been this serious, I might have complained about how the sword swinging timing with hitting or not was quite unclear. Visually it looked like I ought to hit but I was often too early. But as serious as the game was, that UX issue kind of felt intentional.

Also loved the settings menu.

This is genius!

I have no words for this

Brøther

the main menu UI was already hilarious, but the rest of the game 🤣🔥

Goethe, Molière, Shakespeare, Homer. All bow before the new high of storystelling that is Honse 3

Submitted(+1)

This is the single greatest game

Submitted(+1)

10/10 story and voice acting.

Unfortunately, I can not adequately critique the entire game for I refuse to strike down my Brøther. They shall clip clop in the fields for the rest of time (or until the game breaks). I hear them even now, their mighty hooves echoing across the mountains, forever locked in an endless duel where neither warrior dares strike the final blow.

Just to update this, 4 hours or so later they still live, the game holds up, the never ending duel rages (non-violently) on.

This is peak ngl. This kinda reminds me of Lord of the Rings but better? Peak voice acting and peak gameplay. Jokes aside, I think this game is a full on lore heavy experience and it doesn't take it self seriously very seriously! I had fun with this one! Great work!

I won!

...but at what cost?

this computer program, together with all associated digital media, forms the very pinnacle of cinematic storytelling that will remain unmatched for centuries to come

Honse 3 is one of the most serious dangerous games of this game jam , the game is not for the weak of the heart

the gameplay and artstyle may be a bit basic but don't let that fool you.

It is truely one of the most brutal blood shedding games of all time, and manages themes like betrayal , blood , fights and family and bones , and most importantly Honse

from the beginning of the game i was surprised by the peak honse! ( u will get what i mean if u play)

there was a battle between honse with unskippable cutscenes and long honse and honse with strong bones but i wont spoil the final fight

I am very very scared about the future of honse especially when he faces scary honses like short crawling honse ( aka leezard) which is very short and honse's sword won't be able to reach him , i hope the dev can assure me

if u want the true full honse experience play honse 3,

Adam

Who knows what the future holds for honse? Maybe leezard can be a fren :3

Or maybe not?! >:D

As the latest entry in the trilogy, Honse 3 The Joust! had big shoes to fill. However, the cinematic intro, which is new to the series, has blown me away. A very serious experience.

What in the absolute cinema is this, truly a feat of cinematrography

i liked the occasionnal fourth wall break too

with increased gameplay it would be great

visuals are kinda ugly too but that's part of the experience i feel

overall very ncie game

Truly a cinematic experience. I bested the honses with determination and I came out the other side victorious!
