The game was alright.

Tho the enemies rushing at you instantly made it difficult to get good Rpm. But it was fun

Developer

More variety in AI behavior was a stretch goal we didn't reach sadly. Thanks for giving it  a review!

I found the game screen a bit cluttered; there isn't good contrast between the background and the game elements.

Developer(+1)

You're not alone on that. I tried adding some detail to clear it up but it seems I need to do a bit more to make things clear. Thanks for the feedback!

Help! I'm being chased by a bunch of red blood cells!

Developer

>.< If your blood cells are triangles you may wish to see a doctor after you've finished with your rotational lawyer lol

I liked the graphic design, not sure about the colors you picked for the buttons though, but a good job I general. The audio narration make it interesting.

Developer

I'm glad you found it interesting. The buttons need an overhaul and much more love than they got. Once code unlocks they'll get some polish though. I appreciate your insights!

Hilarious audio, and the weapon system is really interesting to play with. Nice job!

Developer

Thanks OrangePainting! I enjoyed getting a go at yours too, though I think you trounced me on seriousness >.<

Submitted(+1)

I liked the variety in abilities and overall court theme. The audio was very funny. Good work!

Developer

I'm glad it got a good chuckle =D

Submitted(+1)

This was a super fun and original game. The whole “trial by combat” idea with spinning weapon/defense wheels is hilarious and fits the theme really well. I liked trying out the different weapons and abilities, and the shotgun was definitely one of the most satisfying. The music fit perfectly, and the voice narration was easily one of the best parts, it gave the game so much personality.

My main feedback is that the visuals/UI could be a bit clearer. Sometimes it was hard to tell exactly what was happening during the chaos, and I wish there was a little more time to read what each weapon or ability did after spinning. More enemy variety, weapons, and polish would make this even better. Overall though, this was creative, funny, and really impressive for the jam!

Developer

High praise from such a hardened criminal =P I'm glad you liked it. It definitely needs polish. The UI is so basic it hardly exists compared to so many of the beautiful interfaces I've seen during this. In trying to keep the flow of action moving I cut out the time for people to read the wheel >.< Learning occasions for sure that will be fixed once we get out of code lock. Thanks for coming by!

Submitted

I really liked your game mechanics and the variety of skills and weapons, the shotgun was definitely my favorite! The music fit perfectly, and the narration is hilarious! Great job, it's amazing that you made all of this in such a short amount of time!

Developer

I'm glad you enjoyed it. We wanted more variety but time got in the way. It may have been from going overboard on the audio to some extent >.< A big shoutout to /profile/hertzlike for the music and his awesome testimony. Thanks for playing!

I like this ping-pong feeling. Really cool theme and style!

Developer

I'm glad you enjoyed the feel of it. We had lots of fun play testing and getting it to a good point. We plan to add more but the result was satisfying for our first game jam. Thanks for stopping by ^_^

Submitted

It's a really good game! Maybe you could add more variety in the enemies or obstacles, like different shapes such as triangles or others. Good job!

Developer(+1)

Definitely need more variety.  We didn't reach all of our stretch goals but we hope to fill out the rest after code lock. Thanks for the feedback!

Submitted(+1)

This game is wild. It's an incomprehensible melange of theme and style... and I kinda love it. I was not good at it, mind you, I'll need a better spin-lawyer, but I thought the creativity was peak. Insane, but peak.

Developer

Sustained! Thanks for giving it a go!

Submitted(+1)

Enjoyed the game, liked the lil voicelines about to the thingamajig you're in court for. wish there'd be more weapons, yall should be in court for having the wheels have duplicated items <3

any the who, good good game!!

Developer

It was definitely meant to have 6 weapons and 6 defenses. We did not meet all our stretch goals. We kept the 6 slices though otherwise it was too easy to get all the spinners on what you wanted >.< Thanks for giving it a play. We'll get the extra items out once the code is unlocked =D

I could deadass be a lawyer, I beat so many serious claims in court!

game's pretty fun, love all the different weapons, and it's actually impressive how many lines of dialogue ya'll recorded, it's insane!

Developer(+1)

Well done! Thanks for giving it a go. We have over 200 voice lines. It may have been overkill for this format but we wanted people to be able to play a number of long rounds and continue to have something new and interesting. I appreciate your feedback!

I had a lot of fun trying all the different guns and abilities. The shotgun was my personal favorite. Although after spinning I'd instantly begin without getting the chance to read what my weapons did! But that didn't have too much of an impact on the gameplay. The highlight for me was the wonderful voice acting. Good job guys!

Developer

Hmm. That's a fair point. I had taken some concern about the spinning being too slow and ran a bit too far with it I think. I'll have to clean that up a bit when code unlocks again. I appreciate the feedback!

Submitted(+1)

I think this is a really cool game which perfectly exhibits the “spin to win” theme! Very well done, can’t wait to see this in the future.

Developer

Thanks for giving it a go. I appreciate the kind words. Got to give your game a go. Very nice work. The art was great and the building mechanic was very novel. I got whooped over and over by instability >.<

Submitted

damn beating the jury is very serious, great mechanic enjoyed a lot only thing i would say is to improve the ui and animations a bit and polish it  bit more other than that like the concept very much <3

Developer(+1)

The UI definitely got the short end of the stick. I wish I had more time to polish it. It was enough to get by but it doesn't really shine. Pause is barely existent, let alone pretty. I'm glad you  enjoyed the mechanics. Thanks for giving it a play!

Submitted

Super fun game, the voice narration is very unique and funny. One thing I noticed, I could not speed up as the enemies keep clinging to me. Overall, very good game.

Developer

Thanks for giving it a look! I appreciate the feedback.

Really? I even added an auto unstuck feature. I only had this happen twice in so many hours of testing but with the auto unstuck it seemed to resolve the issue. Out of curiosity, were you trying to rotate constantly or just occasionally?  Did they stay stuck to you or did they pop off after two seconds? I appreciate you letting me know. I'm sorry to hear you had trouble <3

Submitted(+1)

Great game with a very funny premise! The random audio clips throughout were super funny too!

Developer

Thanks for giving it a go! I'm glad folks liked the audio. There were a lot of voice takes ruined by us laughing >.< I was worried only we would find our work funny though lol

Hey! I'm glad I found this jam entry because I really wanted to rate it during the playtesting period! I loved to see how much this game has evolved over the 7 days. I find it funny how another wheel has made its way into the game. I feel like I remember when there was only one! I also love the addition of the minimap. Helps me find that last enemy a bit easier. The voice acting is 11/10. It's so good.  I also have no idea how you turned the theme spin to win into a spinning trial by combat law game, but it is super original. This is such a fun game, I'm really glad I got at least one more chance to play it. Great job and good luck with the rest of the rating period!

Developer(+1)

You're so kind. I appreciate you talking me through the details of the Jam. You were a big help! It's cool that you got to see one of the early versions of it. I had a lot of good talent helping make the audio what it was. Folks had a blast working on it. I'm glad others were able to enjoy our... seriousness to the point of absurdity as well. Thanks for giving it a play!

I had a chance to play yours as well. It was a pleasure. Your visuals were excellent. The spinning text was inspired. The music was cool and chill. It fit your vibe perfectly. Congratulations on a spectacular performance!
