Hello, I'm 47 years old so I lived the DOS Games era and actually I'm developing THE TAPEWORM, a Point & Click Adventure heavily inspired in Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis. The game is 100% coded and playable from start to finish, and I'm looking a pixel artist to replace the placeholder graphics of the Alpha with the definitive pixel art. Check it in case you're interested:

Hello there, good evening! Thank you for reaching out. I just checked your post and read through a bit about your background in your website. I have to say, I am impressed. Both by the drive for film making with all the awards, and game development. I've also studied filmmaking, but it was focused on animation since this was my major. Could you tell me what art role you want me to fill? I'm assuming its the art for the game's backgrounds, since this is what you've last commented on your post?

Hi, thanks for your kind words about my background. Being a filmmaker has been incredibly helpful in developing the game from a narrative and structural standpoint, and it's a perfect way of coming full circle since the game originated from a short film. The post has been up for over a month, and I've been contacted by many composers and a couple of animators. I've already filled those positions, and the role I'm currently seeking is that of a pixel artist for all the game's "static" content, which includes rooms, cinematic scenes, and the collectible card system. The advantage is that we're not starting from scratch, but rather building upon existing material to enhance it with a cohesive aesthetic.

Yes, I saw the time it was posted. I'm glad you've found the right team to work with as it's not easy at all.
It's understandable about the static content. Just knowing that I could possibly just do that, instead of filling multiple roles like in the previous collaboration, like animator, asset maker, UI designer, etc. takes a lot of the weight off.
I have to ask, timewise on static game assets making, what are your expectations? I understand the foundation of the game is completed and functional, so only visually it needs the works. It's important to know your expectations, of course, when it comes to when something is delivered and when.

Can we continue this conversation via email? If you don't want to share your email address here, please send it to the one on my website. Thank you.
