Very clever game with a really compelling gameplay loop. I got to Evil Harry and decided I’ve had enough, but a little more variety and bullets and stakes, and I would be very hooked. Great game, nice job!
Wow, that's very far, super impressive! Which strategy did you use?
And thanks! In the new update that's dropping when the ratings are out, there are a bunch more bullet types :)
I mostly just stuck to rubber duckies and parrots. I’d get a rubber duck in the first or last place and just fill the rest with the parrots. A stray frog here and there to boost the numbers, too. I didn’t feel like I was any close to losing, so I was the one who had to decide to stop when Evil Harry showed up. :)
This is so good!! I think the only real issue I had was that I felt what I loaded my revolver with didn't matter a whole ton due to the random selection, so I eventually just resorted to filling it mostly with whatever hahaha. Maybe if there were some items that could kinda influence which round is chosen the next time you shoot or something. But the art was cute, the writing was really funny, and the sound design was totally on point. Everything felt juicy and responsive as well. Great job!
Very impressive! I really enjoy the semi-randomness of the mechanics. It's like deck-building where you get the satisfaction of building a good combo AND the satisfaction of the luck of pulling it. Loved the audio, especially of the revolver spinning, very nice and juicy
Would've loved a bit more risk, bit it was a good game overall. The texts on the top right added a bit of flavour. Some more variety could've been great. Very creative concept tho.
This game was so addicting. The multiplier effects were so well done. You can get some insane combos once you get creative. I just sort of wish the 1/4 of a cookie spawned a bit more so you could get the combo a bit easier. The custom cursor also made it a bit difficult to grab stuff at first. Although the revolver barrel getting too big was annoying, it was also sort of interesting that it created a sunk cost thing on getting too many (even if it wasn’t intended). I also like the variable health lost on the player, created some interesting moments on whether to risk contiuning the round or not.
Loved this! It's pretty serious and fun to shoot those aliens. It wasn't possible to load the revolver when it got too big tho.
Thank you! As for that issue: we have an update ready for as soon as the ratings are out :)
Well thought out design for a turn-based system. I like that it gets more risky to try and deal more damage with each shot in the round. So many cool ways to iterate on this further. Audio was handled well, and the visuals were dynamic enough to keep me curious about what's next. Good all around!
Brillant. I love the balance of risk and reward. My only issue was that after adding a few chambers, it became a lot harder to adjust my bullets. There was also some jittering when new bullets were added. But extremely enjoyable nontheless. I loved the humour as well. Could definitely see myself playing a more fleshed-out version of this.
Really creative game. So fun to play. The aliens look so evil.
Game is fun and has great audio! Gun got so large that I couldn't load bottom 3 chambers of it. Got scammed by cookies, thought each of them will deal 50 once it's assembled
It was a very very fun game, love this take on the theme!
