This is so creative! Every level takes the same basic building blocks but introduces a novel new way for them to interact. 8 and 9 have to be my favorites. There's some jank, both with the physics and the movement system but it isn't too bad. Also number 7 is kind of finicky and weird and evil so I didn't get all the coins for that one. All in all though super cool game
Really cool puzzle platformer! Surprisingly feature rich (with wall jump!) and full of interesting puzzles and clever uses of the mecahanics you made. Great job!
The walljumping felt pretty nice! A relatively simplistic game but one that checks all the boxes consistently. The level design was generally pretty fun and I liked the inclusion of extra coins, plus the UI was a nice touch, not something a ton of games have much of, especially not to this level. Nice job! Only main gripe was I wish the character was a little faster, and that the balloons were a bit less finicky, I wasn't sure how they worked for a good bit.
Hey! I'm super glad the itch algorithm showed me this game since I remember playtesting it but forgot the name to revisit it to rate it during this rating period. Once I saw it, I knew I had to play it again and I'm glad I did. It was a very fun and very serious experience. I wanted to go back and try and collect all the coins, but I have a bit of ptsd from AAA games that have collectibles lol.
All of this flavor text is honestly so funny and could be a game of its own. Since just spelling flavor text in the last sentence, I noticed that you misspelled flavor (flavour).
I will admit one of my favorite parts was reading the text at the start of the game and definitely got called out for it.
I think you did a really good job making this game! I wish you luck with the rest of this rating period!
That is the Australian spelling of flavour. That is the correct way to spell it in our country
oh, different country. that's super cool! Sorry about that!
Very clever game! The puzzles were all unique and well done, and I enjoyed the physics of the game. My one grip would be the controls of the player, I think they felt a little too floaty and slow for a game like this. But besides that, this was a very solid entry! Great job!
A surprisingly engaging game. I admit I looked at the visuals and didn't expect much, but just from looking at the settings, everything changed. The game does an excellent job at explaining why it's serious, which really made me completely disregard my presumptions. As a physics lover myself, I loved the many instances of using it this game had. The only coin I didn't care enough to sit down and figure out how to get was on level 7, the one at the top of the blue band thingy. I plataformed and did all sorts of amazing things to reach it, but ultimately, I was always just a bit short.
My biggest concern: The controls. They are odd, not really BAD, but odd. I appreciate being able to select the level because several times I would press ctrl + other keys and that would close the tab or do all sorts of awful things.
Other than that, an I had a great time solving all the levels and being surprised at how clever some of the solutions felt.
Solid submission here - the gameplay loop is fairly well polished but I had a pretty awful time with the controls (putting jump on shift is criminal). I recommend setting a more standard control layout for keyboard and perhaps adding an action mapping setting. Overall still a good game that has potential if worked upon.
Side note - serious mode is very serious. 5/5 in that category.
Had a good time! The UI experience especially is very polished, but I feel like the player controls could have been improved.
Yeah, I agree with that — I didn’t go as deep into the player movement as I’d like, mostly just because either you spend ages on that up front before you have a working prototype, or you get the game working, then improve the movement, and then you have to rebuild all the levels to work with the new movement. Which might have been the way to go, but that’s hindsight for you
With such a short time, things hardly go as planned perfectly. Genuinely impressed by the UI, as I said.

hi, sadly couldnt play it. but the artstyle looks cool!
Pretty Cool Game.
Smiled a bit with the physics on the launching level. Sometimes the platforming got a little janky and didnt flow the best (the respawn is not very forgiving). Found a bug where if you spam jump quickly you can get double height. Overall, I had a good time. The hat was a nice touch.
Haha, oh, that’ll be the coyote time misfiring. The game figures you just left the ground so you can jump in coyote time — I’ll put in a block for if you left the ground by jumping because obviously that’s not what it’s for.
There’s a timed boost jump from balloons which is also a coyote time bug, but I liked that one so I left it in on purpose
Glad someone found the hat
The game is too zoomed in and I am constantly pressing the zoom out button to see the level. On puzzle focused levels, the platforming gets in the way as you have to move many gears back and forth, and the platform heights are not placed in a way that works well with the (variable) jump height. Song gets repetitive for a background track too. Overall idea of gears, puzzles, and physics of gears is enjoyable and has potential.
