I feel like the start could have some more puzzles, instead of some randomness. Also it's unclear what the power ups do. That said, the best RPS game I saw for this jam. Well done!

Thnak you for playing!! I wrote the descriptions of the modifiers in the desc of the page, but I'll see if I can incorporate it in a tutorial-esque way in the game itself.

Very fun but I think I am too small brain for this.

Very cool game theory at play here, I wonder if you could even write a solver for individual battles so you could analyze your mistakes after playing!

Fantastic way to add rpg elements to rps. Was super fun working out strategies. Love the ms paint aesthetic. Great work!

This is such an interesting idea! Although I'm not sure how much it relates to the theme, I still found myself enjoying it a lot. Some explanations for each of the key types would have been great, as I still don't really know what most of them do. I was also just generally a little confused at first, but I think that was mostly because I got perfectly countered the first round, and I assumed that was just how the game worked, I didn't realize the opponent was choosing keys randomly hahaha. But there was a surprising amount of strategy here, and it felt genuinely satisfying to feel like I was "outplaying" my opponent by reading their keys and determining how likely it would be for them to use one over the other. Loved it! Great job :)

Thanks for playing!! The modifier descriptions are in the page desc btw.

The music is the most underrated part. Simply amazing and fun to hear. And a RPS roguelike? +1. Well done!!

Submitted(+1)

Loved the music! and the strategic aspect you introduced to this classic game was brilliant :D

I didn’t expect rock-paper-scissors to be done and expanded into a more strategic playstyle. It’s pretty creative, and the music is chill too. It’s pretty good!

Cool approach to a classic game. Also, how awesome that you can compose such a complex music piece. Good job!

That was one of the most engaging games I've played so far in this jam. I loved that take on the classic. I would've loved to play more, but the game suddenly stopped while I was battling the Witch. It all just went to black

Hi, first of all, thanks for the appreciation! I'm very sorry for that blackout, it is in fact a bug I already solved and will update after jam ends.

I am a scissors main and this game is actually a really cool approach to the classic game. I like the deck building idea and the different modifiers each key can have. I kinda have to think very have to think of the classic relation of

Scissor -> Paper -> Rock -> Scissor (the whole loop) as a "spin to win", so I guess it matches the theme (?). The fact of the assets spinning is cool too, but I guess you could have added something to make the theme approach clearer.
In overall, I really like this, very very enjoyable.

Hi, thanks for checking out my game. My take on "spin to win" is the random aspect of every play in the game, not an explicit "spin" action, the candy keys spinning is atually a coincidence haha.

Submitted(+1)

Don´t know if it matches the spin to win aesthetic but the game was really fun.

It's always fun to see a classic game expanded on.

Very cool to see that the modifiers actually affect what your hand look like, too.

Submitted(+1)

its a really cool concept, nice game!

Submitted(+1)

Luckily the opponents can't see my hand! I'd have lost when i was down to only one thing and they could've just chose that and ousted me.

Real nice! I really liked the ribboned modifiers, I won a lot of ties that way hahah.
