I dig the graphical style, but the gameplay itself has technical issues that hinder enjoyment a bit.

Looks like you might be applying acceleration on rendering frames, but moving using real time. I wasn't able to do much at first, but after unplugging my laptop and playing on battery saver mode, I was able to lower the framerate enough to be able to move around. It actually made my jumps very very large in comparison so I could leap over all the enemies with no trouble haha!

The art style is really charming, the colour palette is lovely, and decorating the page to match really pulls it all together.

A few notes on balance: checkpoints and a bit more jump leniency would go a long way. Some of the difficulty seems like it might not be fully intended yet, the ocelot(?) near the start felt almost impossible to dodge, so I ended up just eating the hit each time. I also noticed my jumps not getting triggered a few times, which made platforming feel less consistent than it should.

One possible bug: at one point I died right at the edge of a platform, and it looked like the water collision might have triggered early.

Really charming entry overall, and I think with a bit of polish this could be a genuinely fun, cute platformer. I wasn't able to finish it, but I'd love to see where you take it.

The game is so cute! Unfortunately, I’m terrible at playing platform games:,)  It would have been cool if we could have jumped even into the air to catch up with the next platform. Because right now we’re falling like a stone x)

Super cute and very hard game! Died after the cat monkey enemy after the 2 spider snacks. Nice work!

cannot jump to the first platform :(

that's quite unfortunate, especially as the game looks good

The first jump is impossible. The gravity is WAAYYY to strong. It's like I can't even jump. Wondering if the gravity is tied to the frame rate...

lol

This is very cute, I played it from start to finish a few times. It's quite short so I'll be limited with my feedback:

I think that if there were like 5 levels (shorter than this one big level), the game would have felt more complete (even a longer level with checkpoints would be ok). I say this mostly because the game itself was quite enjoyable (many games overstate their welcome, but I think that this one would have benefited from some extra content).

Anyway, good job and good luck :)
