Pretty fun game!
Super satisfying too, I just wish the balls had sfx when bouncing.
Really fun entry, good job!

Why so fun???
I'd love to see some textures on the balls/bg, and a little sound/visual response when they bounce would be nice too. But the progression was really nice, and the music was so perfect for settin the mood
when the balls are just far and few, it was so painfully slow, but when reaching certain amount of balls and speed, it started to feel fun. and i think i broke the game (lol).

some idea to make this more interesting:
Simple but pretty polished game.
The controls are smooth and intuitive. I really like the power/strength mechanic.
Though, having more strength and lower drag might be a bad thing. My strategy is to gather all the balls in a corner and make them bounce there, but with increased strength and lower drag, the balls just get flung everywhere.
UI sometimes blocks the balls. I think it's a good idea to put the UI somewhere where the balls can't reach.
It might just be me, but the music is kinda creepy lol. I don't know why xD
Also, it may be a good idea to add some SFX to the bounces? Maybe like a clacking sound, similar to how a game of billiard sound like. The stronger the balls hit each other, the louder the sound. Though I guess it can get a little bit obnoxious when there are many balls.
Really does what it says on the tin, so to speak. Gave me a relaxing time of simple enjoyment. Well done!
Hahaha! I crashed the game. Seems I hooked on this worse than I should've. 500 balls and 100k / second. This was surpisingly fun! Audio is great! Chill. <3
the start is very slow, and once I got first prestige, I kinda lost the motivation to play. As other say, this game needs bounce sound effect, but in other points it's a nice time killer! Sadly I'm not a fan of incremental games so didn't play much.
This is a great little game. A simple concept but well executed.
It starts out really slow, but it ramps up at just the perfect rate (and I think the slow start is perfect, because it makes the later stuff feel just that much better); the progression is really nicely tuned. My favorite part of the game is the mid-game where things are flying around and the effect is mesmerizing; it's easy to get into a trance watching the things fly around. Early game things are slow, and late-game when the screen is absolutely filled with balls you lose a little bit of the magical chaos that makes the mid-game feel so cool, because at that point everything is pretty much stationary.
I wish there was an indicator when I maxed out the drag upgrade, and I wish there was more of an endgame instead of just waiting for my browse tab to crash :P Maybe at the end, the screen could zoom out or something so that it's never more then x% full? But then you lose a little bit of the number-go-up feeling if you do that, so maybe not worth the trade.
I also would have liked some more variety in the music (it is nice but it gets a touch repetitive after a while), and some auditory feedback for collisions.
All-in-all, this was a really fun entry. Great work all around!
Thank you for the feedback! I basically agree with everything you mentioned, I did forget that there is not a single indicator of the drag upgrade being maxed (I usually look at the editor but yeah, you can't do that in here), so that's something I'll improve in one of the next updates.
And also a good suggestion for the late-game improvement, I've been thinking about how I could expand this game when you reach that point, maybe I let the player choose how big the playing area is? Both increase and decrease so they can choose what they want.
I do think the start might be a bit toooo slow but then again, I usually like to think back to the start of incremental games where it was kind of annoying, and then once you get those prestige upgrades, you really notice how much faster you can progress now. But I might adjust the start slightly to make it less tedious.
And yeah the music was added in like the last hour, but I could easily add some more tracks that shuffle randomly. And I'll have to test collision sounds, it would add to the level of satisfactory.
Thanks again for your reply :D
THIS GAME HAS HELLA POTENTIAL. This is easily expandable into something really good with a good progression system and content. Right now it lacks feedback when balls bounce, idk which form of feedback would suit this game, but it lacks it. And there isnt much variety, but its not really a problem at this scale. Good job!!
Thank you so much! And yeah I agree, it starts of pretty slow and I didn't add any nice bounce sounds effects or some screen shake or anything. I need to make the initial hook of the game a bit stronger and then it would already be a lot better I think!
And I gotta find a way to add more content, I did have a couple ideas but didn't think it was smart to work on those during the jam :)
But thanks again for playing my game :D
This is just pure genius. Can't say I've played many games where what stopped me was my PC's inability to continue. After the 4th or 5th prestige, you have god like power, and it's quite fun, but you're also too powerful XD
But I'm not joking when I say this is a really good game, it's a simple idea but it's perfectly done. The music and colors are just right, the progression curve feels good. What more could you want? Peak game. Great work!
