nice game! It was cool seeing the objectives and how they changed as you progressed as well. Music fit the atmosphere. The camera took some adjusting too, but solid overall!

A very atmospheric game. The music track was spot on. The gameplay was satisfying. The death animations were rather satisfying. The sound effects were really well picked. It all worked well together. Thank you for the game.

Really great work! Looks and sounds awesome, gameplay (except for inverted camera) also fantastic. Great having objectives, very well done!

Good work! I liked the ambience and style of the game, a mix of Assassins Creed with Dark Souls games. The camera sensitivity and inverted Y axis was brutal, a settings to adjust those would've been chef kiss. Overall good work mate!

Cool vibe overall. The inverted camera was tricky, and while freeing the hostages was easy, I couldn’t locate the officers. Instead, I got a whole squad of guards running after me.

Nice game ! The atmosphere is really good (light, sounds, ...) the gameplay is great and the fight are often mandatory (because I'm not a very subtle guy XD) But the fight mechanic is great and the objective is clear :) Nice work

I love a good slow-mo assassination! I don't love inverted Y axis, hah. I got big souls-like level vibes. Very cool!

Really cool game and overall great polish! Yes, the mouse thing was a bit annoying... but the game was still perfectly playable and fun! One thing I would change is the slowmo after a kill... it should last for only like 3/4 of a second.

- also i loved the name of the game

Great atmosphere, and great use of the assets and animations! I did find the mouse frustrating as with others but you probably don't want to hear that again. Well done!

The game atmosphere fits really well, it's polished and innovative in its theme. The only thing that bothered me was the high sensitivity and the inverted camera controls, but still a great game!

Really good! congratz!

I like it, it reminded me of the old Thief games, it has the atmosphere down pretty well.

I'll mention what everyone else is about the camera and expand on it; The camera in my play through was too sensitive and the y axis was inverted.

I'm one of those that think if I push the mouse forward, I want the camera to tilt up, it tilted down, and it didn't seem like there was any options menu to change it.

Sadly that along with the sensitivity being through the roof made it too difficult to play properly (along with browser issues)

Other than that its pretty well put together.

My high sensitivity mouse has cursed me :(  . Thanks for the feedback though this jam has been a great learning experience !

nice atmosphere. I also had my issue with the inverted camera control. I was able just to run inside the camp and free the hostages. but couldn't find the officers to kill. 20 guards were chasing me.

I wasn't sure if they can see me while crouching in the grass

Developer

Thanks for the play! Can you explain a little more what the difficulty was with the camera?

Submitted

Cute little game, but the inverted camera controls are a bit frustrating

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Im relatively new to game dev, for my future games can you clarify what was frustrating?

Submitted(+1)

The camera controls were frustrating, when i move the mouse up the camera  goes down, and when i move it down it goes up, it's inverted, that's the only negative thing I have to say about the game, the rest is very well executed

Developer(+1)

I see that makes sense. Thanks for the feedback!

I like the idea and look. Unfortunately, the camera controls really killed the fun for me.  Anyway, good job.

Camera control seems to be a big issue on this game. For my future games what about the controls was not ideal?

Submitted(+1)

For your game, I think being able to smoothly watch your surroundings would be crucial. For me, the camera always seemed to jump between the highest and lowest camera angles. I guess that your camera behavior is either frame rate dependent or has a way too high sensitivity. I hope that feedback helps. With better camera behavior, your game would be very good for a game jam submission!

Yeah that makes sense. The issue is im used to a really really high mouse sensitivity, like if anyone uses my computer its unusable lol. So I think because of that I didn't even notice the issue. I think a lesson im taking from this is to do more playtests as im building to catch things like these and maybe prioritize adding settings like those in a pause menu. I think in the future I'm gonna try and post early in the updates chat or send it to more people.
