I was extremely impressed with the pixel style! One of my favorite sprites is Cirno with the giant ice sword, but the background, logo, and menu buttons also do a lot.

In the way of gameplay, I did quickly catch on that one could simply spam left and right click and win. If Youmu had to aim more at specific projectiles and Reisen had to more tactfully swap between regular and charged fire, there could be more involvement to the gameplay. ^.^;

On a similar note, the text boxes were easy to accidentally scroll through due to them showing up by surprise while playing. I would be curious to see how the pixel style translates to the text boxes as well.

Aside from that, the concept and the storytelling were quite interesting, and it had my attention the entire way through. Well done!

Interesting concept for a game, a kinda 2D arcade rail shooter. Gameplay eventfully came down to me spamming both mouse buttons. I would focus for on charge shots and maybe just give enemies less health (my finger was getting tired my the end). Sprites and music are good!

Visually I really like it, the resolution and style of the sprites remind me of a GBA game which is a cool aesthetic to emulate if that was intentional (if not I'd lean into it). Gameplay wise it's quite basic, essentially just a button masher, for the later stages largely just with Youmu's standard move as slowing down to shoot with Reisen usually leads to you getting hit (not like we can judge with our game where Reisen gets side-lined lol) and the charged moves are not worth it. With some rebalancing and tweaking to the attacks (faster Reisen bullets, slower enemy bullets could be a start), I think this would work a lot better but as it is, it's an okay entry

Presentation-wise, very nice looking. Love the work done on the pixel art and the music. The animations are great. The sfx are a little quiet, but the big kicker is the gameplay. It has nothing going on, I was just mashing both my left and right click the whole time and it felt like there was no reason to stop doing either one at any point. I feel like there was an idea there that wasn't realized in the way they wanted.
Girls should kiss each other though.

I had to resort to using both   hands for this one, but it was pretty fun and enjyable to play! just keep slashing and shooting and we'll get ther eventualy! nie spritework as well!

Fun game, it gets really intense haha. The art is very cool -- I wish the entire game had committed to the pixel art aesthetic! The bullets and subpixel movement somewhat clashed with it. It was also a bit difficult to know when I got hit. I really enjoyed the music, it fit the frantic action very well.

It's aesthetically impressive, but my goodness does the gameplay feel like it's trying to give me carpal tunnel syndrome. Breaks between waves would be a godsend I feel.
