I really really enjoyed this game and all 21 puzzles, and I'm particularly a fan of the natural way that the tutorial gets integrated into the first few levels. I also really enjoyed the depth of the diagonal movement, and the feedback where all blocks with a direction glowed when I pressed that direction, it added so much for me. I also really enjoy the baba is you type text on a lot of these levels, was super cute. My two pieces of constructive feedback for what is already an incredible and polished experience would be (1) a shift button that allows me to move my character faster would be really nice and (2) I think you could have done something more interesting with the huge open level (the clean up one). I thought the game was going in a really vast and cool direction when the space opened up, and even a little secret for some people that explored that would be nice.
Really incredible project though, I had so much fun!
lovely game, very polished!
I always feel super nostalgic when I play games like these. The diagonal aspect was a bit unexpected but super interesting and adds depths to an already established genre. I really like the (seeming) simplicity of this project but can tell that a lot of work on details went in here. thanks for the contribution!
Very well done. Great aesthetics and fun puzzles
All 5 stars! Love this type of games, and designs, and arts. Especially when they are all combined!
On level 15 I thought we gonna escape the loop on level 15 at first :D Also I couldn't beat the last one - still had a lot of fun. Thank you for the experience!
The diagonal movement is a very nice mechanic, it adds a whole new layer to the puzzles. The game felt challenging without being frustrating and the style is very cute. I liked it a lot! My best score would be the second level where I only took 4 turns. My worst was the last one, 161 XD
Yeah this really was a great puzzle game through and through. I often struggle to stay invested with puzzle games so I was very pleased to be defied by this one. Awesome tunes and SFX, addictive gameplay loop and wonderful visuals. This was awesome!!
Loved it! It's an incredible puzzle game. I would love to see a longer game with more puzzle :D
Interesting puzzle game, I really enjoy corner pushes, never thought of that inside these slidable blocks games.
Absolutely fantastic puzzle design here, I'm not sure if I'll ever understand how people make these puzzles after coming up with the mechanics. I had a great time figuring them out but I can only take so much of these kinds of puzzles before my brain overheats...
Visuals aren't anything super special but it's the right choice for this game for sure. I personally find the CRT shaders people get online to usually be way too strong but it's not too bad here. My main issues were that I wish I could move the guy a lot faster and that the music got a little repetitive, but it was no issue with those puzzles to entertain me :)
Great work!
Out of the box, this shader was painfully overdone. It took some tinkering to tone it back, especially on the chromatic aberration. Thanks for the feedback!
was wondering why this game had SO many rates in not even two full days, but i definitely understand now. phenomenal game, very simple, deceptively tricky, and simultaneously very fun puzzle game
Awesome game! Super fun, would also love to play this on my phone.
Fun puzzles! Going full screen although made me lag really bad 1.5s input latency everytime I clicked, which was unfortunate.
Yeah, someone else also mentioned I should have added a toggle to turn off the shader which would have helped you a lot here. Something to keep in mind for next time!
I don't know how many levels there are, because I took one look at Lane Mgmt and decided I'd had my fill. :D
A nice little brainteaser, this! I enjoyed the 1-bit visuals, and the background music was nice. That little floppy disk interlude between each level is really nice, too.
Lane Mgmt is definitely the most visually overwhelming level, but the actual solution isn't very hard. Most of the arrows are just acting as simple gates to make you take a less obvious path to the goal.
Really impressed with this one! It's super polished. I'm not very keen on Sokoban puzzles usually, but I got hooked. Nice job on creating so many levels by the deadline as well!
Fun! Good amount of challenge. I can see this getting even harder and more fun with more levels. Graphics are totally on style for that era
When in doubt, just push diagonally. I only as far to the room with so many boxes and got stuck. Good fun though!
It's really good!
I'm not a fan of the turn counter, since it makes me feel like I'm being "punished" for moving around and exploring my options. It also makes me feel like I need to undo every time I accidentally bump into something.
Other than that, I really like the concept!
Very clever idea and a well polished game. I would personally prefer for movement to be much faster. Great work overall!
This is another one that could easily have been a menu option to adjust the turn speed! I really should have spent more time working on adding options to the menu.
Really nice idea, and very well executed
Got a lot of fun playing this one
I'm especially fond of the controls being blocked, adds a lot of challenge to the game I think
I got a bit stumped at level 14, but I'm definitely coming back later to finish the game (I was really glad to see that game progress was saved !)
