I think the meat was rotten...

Really good platformer with some clever level design actually! Probably could have done with either a lives system or a checkpoint or two (I eventually got to the end, but started getting pretty enraged by the time I did 😂).

Overall a v solid entry! Well done!

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it!

Graphics are greate, and weird at the same time, but effects are good!

Developer

Thanks! I'm glad you liked them.

Kinda crazy how it's just your 3rd game yet you are already experimenting with shaders 😃

Developer

I've done other jams in the past, but this is my 3rd of this 100 game goal.

Perfect SBIG.  That ending was spectacular.

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it.

Quintessential. Absolutely worth it getting to the end. Good luck on your gamedev journey!

Somehow i managed to focus on the dogs for 8 minutes before remembering i'm really bad at plateforming. That's a great start, hope I live long enough to see your 100th jam!

Developer

Thanks! I hope you live long enough too! Hopefully it doesn't take more more than 3ish years.....

A good start for your game dev journey :)  can't wait to see where you end up in another 97 jams!

Developer

Thanks! Yeah, I wonder how much I'll be able to improve.

It's a perfectly cromulent platformer with a somewhat annoying twist, but the hook wasn't strong enough and I didn't have enough patience to get to the end. 100 jams is an ambitious goal, and I'd love to see the postmortem at the end.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. Hopefully when I reach 100 I will have improved a lot.

I did not finish the game. I was patient. I really tried. I made it to the giant block with the two smaller blocks that go left and right and gave up. I like the art and music. I can't say it is so bad it is good because it is not particularly bad. Unless you don't like precision platformers.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for giving it a try! I was thinking the warbly effect and the art made it bad.

In terms of the platforming, I'd say the 'bad' comes in the form of janky game design. It's got a couple of rage-game-esque jumps and annoying cycles (which, of course, are deeply charming).

Amazing experience, would eat rotten hot dogs again
