Amazing game!
I love the idea of discovering the mechanics during gameplay.
I really liked the idea of adding eggs, especially because I was about to go crazy because I couldn't complete the level ahah

I was too small brained to beat level 8 but this was amazing, I really love the pixel art style you went for alongside the really beautiful soundtrack. I've seen plenty of puzzle games with the limited turn pushing mechanic but this was done in a nice way with a cute worms vs birds mechanic. The snow mechanic of freezing eggs to prevent hatching and the combining of eggs was so cool. Just really solid work, however the game lagged and had popping noises during the music sadly. Still, I loved what I played.
Nice game - the art looks good and I like the music a lot!
The puzzles were fun, although there were a couple times I was stuck on a puzzle, and wanted to go back to the map screen to try a different level.
ahh ! so sad to see the incompletable level, i wanted to collect all the skulls and complete the revenge of the worms!
Good game, i like the art and the style a lot, i will admit i was hoping for a little more than the traditional blockpusher game functionally, but idk, i think pretty much everything else makes up for it - the animations are cute, the game is solid, the puzzles took thinking but i never got crazy stuck, i enjoyed myself :)
that stupid rotating worm
I'm sorry 😭 I have a list of to-dos once the voting is done and I can't wait to fix it up for future visitors. Very glad you enjoyed it! And I suppose you're right about the mechanics being on the more typical side- I had more complex ideas in mind but I had to trim things down to fit the 4 days. Maybe one day I'll commit to a big project for bigger ideas!
Spinny worm is excited about murder 👿
the game's pixel art is gorgeous! and everything looks so consistent together. I was confused about the weird creepy bird skulls at first until i realised oooh they're the birds i've killed.. damn! well done!
Great puzzles - level 11 had me stumped for a while. I would have liked a faster animation speed, personally - it felt a little sluggish, I thought at first it was a performance issue. The level select is great - rare to see that kind of tying together in a jam game.
The open world level select confused me at first, but I liked it in the longer run! I played all 11 levels and every single one was well designed, and all the mechanics were interesting. I particularly like the snow tiles. Good work!
Well done sokoban + count down game! Too bad I couldn't complete the game because of level 10 and tombstone near level 11 and 12. But it was fun nonetheless.
Very very well polished puzzle game!! I loved how cozy and simple the style was and how well designed the puzzles were (as bad as I am at puzzles, I can't really critique too hard lol all I can say is it had me scratching my head lots). The game has some wonderful pixel art and is among some of the most visually consistent games I've seen (great job on the game page as well), and puzzles were very satisfying to solve. This is probably because of my own bad eyesight, but in the beginning it was a little bit difficult to tell which tiles I could move to and which I couldn't without trial and error - I don't see anyone else with this problem so I genuinely just think I have bad eyesight haha.
I love cute and simple characters, I doodled your worm

Clever twist on sokobon! The countdown timers are really integral to the gameplay. The puzzles were just the right kind of difficulty. I got stuck for a good while on level 11, but when I eventually got it, it felt very satisfying.
Great art style. Everything is clear in function and looks cohesive and polished. The palette is also wonderful (thanks for crediting it, lospec seems like a cool community!)
Music is a good fit too.
Overall, it's a really well executed entry. I honestly can't think of ways you could've improved on it. 5 stars on all criteria from me :)
Is the worm pixelated 3D? Its form looks really consistent.
Too bad level 10 was unbeatable, thanks for the disclaimer in the description else I'd probably have wasted a lot of time trying to make sense of it. Can you share what was going to happen after completing all levels?
Hey thanks for the super thoughtful and kind comment, and very generous rating! Don't worry, you didn't miss any cool ending, I suppose you may find it satisfying to see all the bird skulls on their pedestals in the overworld but that's about it. The worm and everything else is fully hand drawn, but I did 3D model a bird skull to use as reference for the spinning skull animation :)
Best game of the jam so far. Too bad level 10 is impossible, that might ruin the fun for people who don't read the description. Maybe make it bigger and put it at the top of the page?
What an amazing game! Absolutely beautiful art style, AMAZING level design, very satisfying, i was dumbfounded on how many new mechanics you added (was fortunate to read the comments before playing). Easily one of my highest rated games!!!
Besides that level 10, one of my teammates recommended this and was pleasantly surprised!
