Really cool idea for a game. Great art style and music makes you feel like a real cowboy.

Developer

Thank ya partner!

As an RDR fan I've always craved more duel type games, this is a cool spin on that. The countdown theme works perfectly here. Nice job!

Developer

RDR is a great game. Glad you enjoyed ours!

Great game! I like the idea and it's well executed. By the way I managed to shoot myself 3 times with exactly 0.099 seconds remaining xD.

Developer

Haha thats awesome! Thanks for playing

I legit have a screenshot of shooting myself with .001 seconds too early. I feel your pain

great atmosphear, hard in a good way, love it

Developer

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!

This is a very clever idea! I found it very easy to pick up, but tricky to master. This is definitely something I could keep playing for hours. Loved the graphics and the competition element too.

I have over 300 rounds played and I still whiff it haba. Thanks for playing!

This is better than games that take years to make... Awesome job! I am a Synty enjoyer myself. Are you using a dithering shader and a static screen overlay here? I'd love to know how you got that effect.

(1 edit)

We're using the auto smoothing in Unity as well as a smoothing shader. Then Beautify Unity addon for the screen space effects.

Yeah, I can model stuff like Synty, but for a 4 day jam it was better to put the focus somewhere else considering we already had the assets haha.

The fact you have this working in multiplayer is incredible! Had a blast playing with one of my friends. I could definitely see myself booting up this game to pass the time in class or something if I was younger. Great work!

Developer

that’s a huge compliment! Thanks!

Incredibly impressive to make a multiplayer game in 4 days. My brain can't even comprehend it. Very solid game overall :D

Developer

thank you! Really appreciate it!

Such an amazingly well developed game, from the entire online system, to shop, highscore and more, incredible how much content you got into the game. My friend and I played over 30 matches and got quite competitive in the process! 10/10 full score for us. Well done!

I'm mad at you because your ghost beat me in the finals of a tournament... but glad ya'll had a great time! haha

I added the game to my private itch collection, are you planning on keeping the online services running? Because this has a lot of replay value, especially for some short matches

Developer(+1)

yes we will keep it running!

Thank you! We actually thought about doing a slow mo view like that if you get a perfect time. Just never made it in!

(+1)

Yeah we thought about a time slowage to show a bullet travel to then reveal who's bullet it was, but yeah just ran out of time. Focused on a core things.

great little minigame you made here! Didn't give online a go, but its crazy impressive that you set that up for a gamejam lol! Got to 10 wins no losses in campaign! I maybe would have liked some sort of added or growing challenge with the shootout, whether that's a mid-draw time change (like from target 7.5 s to 4.6, to keep users engaged) or some sort of in-built distraction that could up the difficulty, but overall a super strong concept! Great work :)

Developer(+1)

Yea we debating adding a loading mechanic or some other distraction mid draw but we thought it ultimately took away from the simplicity of the mechanic/design. We may go back and add something in the future. Thanks for playing!

Crazy how you made like a full game with a shop and multiplayer in four days!
