Surprisingly engaging for what it was!
Your humour is what made it - so I'd be interested to see more dialogue/story than just a single line every hundred clicks. The addition of more 'autoclickers' or other mechanics just to see the story quicker would have been good too. Great work!
The Good: For a game made in two hours, it isn’t that bad…
The Meh: …But I feel there could had been more time put into it, because it’s a rather bare bones incremental, just not in the usual way of “number go up”.
The Oof: It wasn’t clear that I had to click the dialogue to dismiss them, which didn’t help much.
The Wow: …Although at least after the main story is over, it becomes a more ‘proper’ incremental, just with negative numbers.
Suggestions: Put more into the story, and maybe have an alternative clicking command, like maybe space. Oh, and either allow the dialogue to be dismissed by clicking outside of it, or make it clear you need to click in it to dismiss it.
It was neat! Good job making something with the little amount of time you had!
The dialogue kept me entertained through that.
Got confused having to click the dialogue to start but overall much more fun than i first expected
I mean you warned me about the disappointment, I don't know what I was expecting
Nice dialogue, and simple concept too!
I hate you
Would be easy to expand on in the future. Reminds me of some old flash games.
To make any game in 2 hours is impressive, but making one that I was actually interested in completing and that had a surprising range of narrator comments was great. And the thing at the end where it goes into negative and opens a shop for you I definitely was not expecting
Cool game! Loved the dialogue. As others have pointed out, it reminds me a lot of the Narrator in The Stanley Parable
YOOOOO OUR GAMES ARE MATCHING!
The dialogue is incredible in this game! Really felt very condescending I really like the vibes of it all. My hand hurts….
Carpal tunnel simulator. Fun dialogue tho!
this reminds me of Clickholding!
anyways, this is a surprisingly deep use of the theme, and definitely made me laugh. now i'm wondering how deep the abyss goes...
I did it. I saw the number go down
I came in expecting a boring countdown. But the dialogue actually spiced it up a lot. Thanks for the free autoclicker! Cool game :D
Expected a quite tedious simple clicker game, received a much less tedious clicker game with some pretty fun dialogue!
Was a bit stumped at first as to why I couldn't press the button, but figured out you had to click on the dialogue to close it first. Might be a good idea to add a "click to close" prompt or a similar thing to make sure dumdums (like myself) understands what to do.
Neat little game, great job :)
Quite good for a 2h game! Enjoyed the small dialogue easter eggs !
