Great arcade shoot-em' up! I had a lot of fun with this though it was definitely pretty tricky, and the fact that you moved forward/backward a lot faster than side-to-side kept tripping me up a bit. But I really enjoyed this, great job submitting for the jam!

Hey thanks for playing!  Yeah it can be rough in the later levels, or depending on which drops you get early.

Nice game. I recognize the assets from my first game:)

Developer(+1)

Yup! Those free assets really came in handy!

Great work on TZer0! good artwork and yes! the enemy formations were top notch, Thank you so much for rating my game /jam/gmtk-jam-2026/rate/4823917#post-16758046

Thanks for playing!  I had a lot of fun making those formations work together.  Under the hood it's simply math of drawing line, square, circle, etc divided by number of enemies, and then just tweening them to those offset positions.

Excellent! It wasn't apparent when I did it, so even better

love the enemy formations, and the sound design is peak :3

think there is a minor bug where sometimes enemies wont move onto screen but will just sorta spawn without animation

i feel like the high amounts of vertical movement does add to how dynamic and fast it feels as well ^_^

Developer

Thanks for playing!  I noticed this bug as well, and I think it occurs when you get a screen clear between waves - at least that's what happened in my many test play-throughs.

Very fun! Spread shot is super fun to use and feels really strong. Had difficulty seeing when my ship was being hit

Developer

Thanks for playing! We'll see what we can do about that last part.

Pretty fun!

Thanks!!

I had fun with this!  The only real feedback that I have is that it felt very strange that the vertical movement was so much faster than horizontal movement, but I also didn't really end up using the vertical movement at all except to collect powerups, because it was safest to stay at the bottom of the screen :)

Well done!

Thanks for playing! To be honest I'm not entirely sure why we made the vertical movement like that, but I think it was because originally we were thinking to have a camera that goes faster if the player rushes forward to be able to rush forward and finish a level, but we sort of changed it later on and didn't find the movement weird so it stayed like that
