Ranked from 57 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

How does your game fit the theme?
You have to complete various tasks to finish your game within five minutes; there's a timer in the top-left corner ticking down to that deadline.

See description for full credits.
The credits do contain spoilers, though, so I recommend playing the game first.

Great and very funny submission. Felt exactly like the jam ;)

i had a similar experience making my gamef for the jam lmaoo, good execution! :D

Submitted(+1)

Very fun idea and execution! The audio was very messed up for me, for some reason. Great job!

Developer

That's odd. Audio worked fine for me on both of the computers I tested my game on. What browser and OS are you using?

Submitted(+1)

I'm on Chrome and Windows. Since no one else commented on it, it's probably just a me thing, so I won't give it a bad score.

Developer

Audio works for me on Chrome and Windows. Not sure what's going on in your case but thanks for letting me know.

i love the concept is stress me out is creative idea i like it Good game !

Submitted(+1)

Expirience of other art, that was funny

Submitted(+1)

really funny game! I really really enjoyed it, having a fixed timer on the whole game made it feel really tense

Submitted(+1)

Man, what a meta experience. Probably one of my favorite concepts I've played so far. Had me stressed the whole time just like the real thing!

(+1)

that was brutal. real thing was easier.

Got a laugh out of me right out of the gate from the Fauxdot splash screen, and the rest of the game absolutely did not disappoint. The submission minigame "servers going down" probably tickled me the most as a gag but man, full points to all the gags in this one. (Appreciated the XDDCC reference...) Big shoutouts to Protect the Clef for finally putting me in the shoes of a truly professional audio designer -- I mean, I imagine that's probably what it's like -- and BIG shoutouts to the Impossible Quiz homage with the button that counted down from 20.

Perhaps my greatest achievement all jam was passing all three Progdles on the first try. That was stressful!!

Developer

Congrats on the Programles! Big Tech is calling

Thank you for playing!

Submitted(+1)

wow i suck at wordle lol. also aparently orang is a word??

Submitted(+1)

how it felt while making my game. Awesome!

Submitted(+1)

I got to the manual pump and I was done bru lol. Hope I didn't miss too much content by being stuck on wordle and only making it up to the loading bar with the pump! It was really fun, although idk if the drawing part mattered if it was good or not because I lost, but if you did have a checker to see if you were close or not then thats good! Fun concept, good execution!

I deliberately did not add a checker to the art portion because in a real game jam, you don’t know whether other people think your art is good or not until after you submit. Also, the manual upload part (with the pump) is the last part of the game.

Thanks for playing!

I could not get past wordle 😢

Submitted(+1)

Fits the experience of making my own game for the game jam well. The stressful environment, coding till your arms drop. Very relatable, 10/10.

This is the third meta game jam one I've played and it's definitely my favorite! I particularly like the programmle using programming vocab, that was clever. also the manual upload part had me panicking! I loved this one, great work!

Developer (2 edits)

Thank you for playing!

I checked out your game too and here's my thoughts on it (I would've left this on your game's rate page but I have a warning on my account so I can't leave comments outside of my own stuff 😭):

Parrying is top 5 game mechanics oat
The audio was fire and it was really fun redirecting the spade lasers at Jestro. One of my favorite games from this jam.
Submitted(+1)

Haha thanks, i'm glad you liked it!

Tried three times to beat the wordle puzzle, but im not good with vocab games. Nevertheless i loved the concept, and the artwork. Would love to try the rest of the game. I'll come back!

Submitted(+1)

Couldn't pass the wordle levels because I'm not a native english speaker so I can't think that fast ToT

Nice one, tho, there's always someone to make a jam-themed game.

Submitted(+1)

Incredibly on point! This was my first jam and it really seemed like we had only 5 minutes of time xD

Really well made and incredibly funny, great job!

Submitted(+1)
