Thank you so much! :D

Thank you! More songs are coming! Just gotta get through some other priorities first!

AWW! Thank you for featuring me! :D The new version is much easier lol <3 Had some bugs in the old one with the way notes were spawning in :) lol

Thank you everyone! A new bug-fix build has been pushed :D Please try it out!

Super funny! LOL Great game! :D Though I swear in the discord we were supposed to be able to collect things and turn into a big ball! LOL - hope we get to see that level :D

Aww, I wish I could play! It keeps crashing my browser after the first part.

Very cute game! It is a bit too easy, and also it feels a bit wasted that the turrets can’t shoot through blocks or other turrets. Same with the enemies - they kind of line up instead of all attacking at once. Overall though, it’s very cute, and VERY fun :D

I encountered a bug! :( I was unable to venture forth into the dungeon. The audio glitches out for me, and then it just resets to the main room. Q^Q This game is so cute! I’m not sure what’s going wrong but I’m so sad I wasn’t able to see the dungeon. Absolutely LOVED the art style of this one!!

I didn’t hear any audio, so not sure if this is a bug or not. But overall great job for the game jam! :D

Really love the art in this game!

Just want to say in the tutorial, I wasn’t sure if “bread” counted as a layer or not. But there was no way for me to reset. If you end up with more than 8 layers, you cannot reset the level unless you completely restart. So definitely might wanna make that red “X” clickable or add a button or let me drag “off” the sandwich to remove the ingredients.

But overall, great, super cozy, special shout out / kudos to your artist. Phenomenal. Absolutely adored the character designs <3

Cute little game! Wasn’t sure how the layers theme fit in, but loved it for the girly game jam nonetheless! :D

I didn’t hear any audio. But overall, I really enjoyed the art. However, the gameplay is a bit off. The dialogue really gave no indicators as to what their “order” is - and on top of that, there dialogue itself scrolls extremely slowly, and there’s no option to skip the animation.

Also, I would prefer to be able to “manually” place the decorations. It seemed like it was click+drag, but it wasn’t precise in terms of me putting decorations on it. Lilith also was very offputting from a dialogue perspective as the first character I encountered.

This game is really fun.

The controls were really off putting at first. I can’t say it’s always a good idea to use mouse, num pad, zx, spacebar - it’s really all over the place.

That being said, I was able to eventually ease into it and get into a flow state. It did seem like even though I was holding z+x when I hit space bar I was still taking damage? I got a few misses when I was blocking.

Also, the timer obscures the keys, would be nice for the keys to be more accessible. And overall - would really prefer to not have to use the mouse. :)

But overall this game is one of my favorites!

This was really fun! :D

The audio was a little weird, lol but I really like the gameplay! Would like to see a bit of improvement on the art side of things, this could be really cute!

I like this game (I especially liked the little inspo bit regarding the bag of rice and the little story to go with it, lol) - but the intro could use some work.

I think the little graphics in the bottom that is used for help text could be better as “orders” potentially. E.g. “Make this,” etc. for something that is so time directed. I’m trying to fill up the bentos, or not? The goal is a bit ambiguous. The time pressure is what makes it feel off - e.g. might be cozier to make bentos according to a pattern, fulfill X and then use the earnings to upgrade.

This was so cute! It was a fun decoration cake game, though I do wish there was more to do and unlock! :) Here is my cake! (E.g. customers to serve, etc.) (I did accidentally drop a little thing behind the ui, and wasn’t able to pick it back up. :( )

I got two stars. I was never able to get stability even when it seemed like my cakes were perfectly tiered, stable, got all the others checked. But I couldn’t ever figure out how to get stability.

This game is cute, though for a game where most of the gameplay is in the UI some more feedback (e.g. scaling cards, hover animations, sound effects, etc.) would do well here! As it is (I do have ADHD so take with a grain of salt) it was a bit hard to pay attention to all the details. For the tutorial, instead of putting everything at the beginning up front, it might be nice to do contextual onboarding, where the relevant information is shown as you do something. But for a game jam, great job!

WELL THANK YOU AND I HATE YOU TOO MUAH

This game is a binding-of-isaac like super awesome fun game with AMAZING visuals, great humor. I love this game SO much.

But it too haaawd Q^Q

Please make it cheesier. You can add a cheat code called, “Mia sucks at games” and let me play it :D

No worries! There is a bug with the notes / timing - so it’s not you! :D I have a fix and people have already been playtesting with MUCH better results, lol :) Sorry about that!

This game has a very cute, very sweet premise. Though, I think you should definitely try to find an artist! The assets are varying sizes and resolutions (bunch of mixels) and it can be really distracting. I think you’ve got a really solid core game here, and it could be fleshed out just a bit more, I think it could be a strong contender. :)

The gameplay was also a bit linear - totally understandable for a jam, but I think this game could be very strong as a standalone if you were to flesh out the world a bit, give the player some agency to explore and find these. If you were to make the puzzles a bit more difficult and expand on this, I really think you have a solid foundation to pursue further.

This really reminds me of a series called “To the Moon” - highly recommend if you haven’t been inspired by this already!

I did get a cute little cutscene at the end with grandpa, so maybe it works, I will definitely check it out at the end!

Your assumption was correct! A lot has been fixed. :) I hope you will give it a try after the voting period is over! :D

I absolutely loved this one and I was so stoked to play it! The visuals are so adorable, and it’s got such a cute and cozy gameplay loop! Grow ungun, make ungun rings, and then spend ungun coins to buy cute little bear themed furniture for my box! :D

It’s a game jam, so there’s only so much time, but my only critique is for minor QoL improvements, such as being able to reorder the layers of stuff. I wasn’t entirely sure if I could keep progressing, as I couldn’t figure out how to unlock the next ones. I really wanna see the next ones! Also the wallpaper, I’m a derp so a “lock” feature so I can’t click on it and then have to click 5 times to go back to my pretty wallpaper :>

Thank you so much! Yes the beats are messed up, it’s a known bug. :) A fix is ready as soon as the post-jam period is over!

They are definitely supposed to! This will be fixed in the next patch. :)

Hey thank you! There is a bug with how the notes spawn. Its meant to be easier!

Aww thank you syn! :D

No it was definitely a bug! I found the issue and posting a fix when it opens up again. It’s definitely not you <3

That is a bug in how the notes spawn! I have since fixed this small issue and it is a -LOT- better. I hope you will give it another try after the voting period ends! <3

Thank you so much!

Nah you’re good! I found an issue with the timing. It’s already been fixed! :) So it’s not you, it’s definitely a bug. I’ll post the update after the voting period! <3

Thank you! :D I have grown very attached to the little beasties :> <333

Yes! I totally agree. I am currently looking into seeing how I can make it a little bit better / more cozy :)

Thanks! Did you try the practice game? :)

Thank you so much! I’m so glad you enjoyed it! :D

Hi! Yeah, it was a bit of a struggle to add the anims / story stuff in time. There are posters on the wall. Each level corresponds to one of the posters in a warped fever dream (levels one and two are reflected in the posters to the left)

Yeah it was a bit difficult to get everything done! Each level is basically a fever dream (nightmare?) inspired by the posters on the wall :) lol

(1 edit)

This was fun up until the point where the jumps started to get very challenging (subjective opinion). I liked that this platformer was incremental though, it felt like I was really exploring the dream tower for a few minutes. The sounds and music didn’t bother me at all, it was pretty calming despite the difficulty. Overall, I felt like this game was pretty good :)

This game was so cute and funny, I’m just imagining a kid sleep-swinging like crazy around his room now. I like how you became limited in movement the faster you spun around, it was a really nice touch to keep players from becoming overpowered, hypermobile monster blenders. Also, I really loved the music. Great submission! :D
