Great concept, great game, I liked every aspect of it. The music really was really fitting, but I think it looped before I finished the game first time. The feeling I had was a bit similar to when I was playing DEFCON by Introversion Software, and I feel like there's more to explore and more intensification by music - changing it a bit when player goes closer to destruction or towards peaceful resolution.

Hi, the audio stutter when i play it in my browser.  not sure why. I know this is a good game but something is wrong with audio that make it unplayable.

Developer

I've noticed that this is often related to full-screen mode—sorry you had to deal with audio issues.

A great way to interpret the theme. I experienced several different endings, and I think the idea behind it is fantastic. The videos interspersed throughout really helped keep the game exciting. I also thought the design and music were excellent and very fitting.

Yo so cool..Those old footages looks so damn cool..They set such a weird war vibe..I felt like i was doing something wrong during the whole game...Game lowkey has a disturbing vibe ngl ( in a good way).. I liked the game..Good stuff!!

Unique idea, interesting concept, a lot of loud glitchy audio

So epic ! Music was a bit loud compared to sound effects. So hearing the click button sound and new papers sound was harder. And a skip button would be nice for second play through. Other than that, great job !

This game feels like the most narrative game I have played so far, and it does it well. Bravo my good sir :>

Wow, an extremely unique interpretation of the theme. I liked the way you used archival footage. To me this was actually a bit moving to play! I did 2 endings, don't know if there's more. The message at the end of the doomsday ending is very wholesome, and appreciated.

It's really great to read that the game's take on this theme has been so well received. I'm also glad that the game manages to get people's minds moving. Thanks for your feedback!

This was an interesting idea. I don't think making the  military footage unskippable helped the replayability.. Maybe it could have played in the background as the game tells you what the results of your actions are? I got the disastrous ending by trying to be peaceful. I wasn't sure if the answer was to take more militaristic stances at each choice, but it would be interesting if the game was trying to say that there was no avoiding the inevitability and there was no good ending? Great narrative is so, and good job for a solo dev!

I'm glad you like my game. You're absolutely right—a skip button, even if it only appears on the second playthrough, would have really helped.

As for the endings, I designed it so that the supposedly most pacifist approach isn’t always the most effective one. In my opinion, that’s not how the world works (unfortunately). Thank you so much for your constructive feedback!

what a creative idea! i loved how it played, and the narrative was very interesting. the use of real-world clips was very cool, and the music was amazing.

I'm glad you like this approach so much!

The Doomsday Clock is a very interesting interpretation of the theme. I like how dynamic the music feels. The usage of historical footage really does make the game stand out. Unfortunately, I lead the world towards nuclear war.

Developer

I'm glad to hear that—I mean, that you like the music and the performance, not the part about nuclear war :)

Cool idea!
