Damn this is a lot of writing and scenarios for a 4-day jam, good job! I like the style as well, though I found some text a bit hard to read. I'm glad judges don't have 2 minutes with penalties for questioning in real life 🤣
Absolutely loved the Papers, Please! atmosphere.
I love a UI heavy game and it mixes with the Ace Attorney style so well. The art and writing are amazing. Out of curiosity, do you think you'd keep the timer after the jam?
P.S. Someone may have pointed it out already, and it may be intentional, but when I ask a question it says ANSER instead of ANSWER.
Thanks! Timer will probably stay but It will not that important or short since we are planning to expand the scope of the cases as game continues. And no ANSER was not intentional lol
I loved this game! It's got paper's please vibes, ace attorney level of goofiness in the writing, and gameplay I haven't really seen before. Very polished and unique, I was feeling the pressure but it was pretty well balanced, maybe slightly too little time.
Really great presentation, loved the art of the game and all around is a very polished experience. Great variety in the cases and thought the writing was very good, one of my faves was the Rooster not only having an iterpreter, but saying others just didn't understand art XD. Very impressive entry!
The game's art is amazing and concept was really fun :) On a laptop computer, the font was a bit hard to read a some points, but overall the game is really fun and I enjoyed discovering each case! A really impressive game to do in 4 days, congrats ! :)
It was fun
I'll be coming back to this one when I have more time to read through everything because I got through four or five cases before even realizing the law book existed (oops, maybe some people got some verdicts they shouldn't have!) And I REALLY want to go through all 20 cases because a few of the ones I had seen were absolutely hilarious. Immaculate Papers, Please vibes. I'm a very fast reader so I'm able to get through most of the evidence and flavor text which is really good because it's all so fun and well written that I WANT to get through all of it. I saw in the comments that you're planning on making this a full game. Please, please, PLEASE do so.
Thanks! I'm planning to make this a full game if I get time from engineering school. Fun fact, some of that hilarious cases are real cases that actually happened in our country.
Very cool game, I liked it, one of the best games of this format that I saw on the jam this year! And it's true, as they wrote, I think the game is inspired by paper, please, but not copied, and that's cool too!
I think you might like our game if you like management games
That was amazing!!!!
Truly a wonderful game, I was hooked for every single case and I managed to only get 1 case wrong!!
I also loved how realistic the cases were, most of them I could think of something similar that has actually happened and as an Italian I'm greatful that the correct sentence for breaking pasta is guilty!
The atmosphere was also amazing and it reminds me a lot of papers please
I would love to see this get turned into full game!
Pretty good! I do think we should be allowed to execute people who break pasta in the middle
I'll be watching this, the game seems really promissing and the setting is really cool
Loved it! I really enjoyed the entire setting and most of the cases were really fun! Good job!
Great job! Cool art style! Lots to go through!
I wonder if there are other ways to use time that didn't feel so time crunched!? Either way great job!
Loved the art style!
Papers, Please with law setting very cool !
Looks cool but font could be bigger :-)
Thanks. Some texts were too long to fit in UI I drawed so I made the font size smaller. Probably I need to find a better way next time
A fast-paced courtroom game with a *Papers, Please* vibe. I really liked it; I hope I’ll get to play a version with more cases—or perhaps even a story mode.
Thanks. I have 10 more cases that didnt make it to game but I'm planning to turn this to a full game with story mode
dont make me scream ya
