How does your game fit the theme?
Every wave in Stick Sweep runs on a countdown timer on the left side of the screen. Survive until it hits zero and you're pushed straight into the next wave, which comes in faster and harder than the last. The whole game is built around beating that clock before it beats you.

WOW! Super polished! I love the achievements that pop up. The music is INCREDIBLE! It was super-addictive, tons of replayability (the music adds a lot here TBH, I would keep playing it just to hear the music again lol). Incredibly good job by solo dev

One of the best games I have played so far. Everything is perfect and I found 0 issues/bugs. Great UI, art, sound, and gameplay.
Honestly an amazing well done for such a good game!

If you don't mind me asking, what game engine did you use?

Thanks so much, I really appreciate it! ❤️ It was actually made for the web using JS and HTML5.

Wow, everything feels so polished, from the UI to the gameplay itself. I like the variety of objects you can hit and the amount of features you included like achievements and costumes. It's cool you even made both desktop and mobile support. The visuals feel like a more-polished flash game which is cool. Very well done.

Only issue I ran into was the character's rotation "resets" when trying to move the cursor around the character. For example, I would be spinning them clockwise, and once at a certain angle, the character would spin counter-clockwise to look at the cursor instead of continuing clockwise, which feels very awkward since they take a longer time to longer to point where I want them to, messing with my timing. Rotation in games can be finicky, so I definitely feel your pain in correcting that.

Overall, nice job! A very polished and feature-rich entry.

Probably the most sophisticated UI of any game Ive seen. Achievements and skins? Crazy... Game was pretty fun. Could have maybe used some more momentum/energy in the swing animation. It is for sure fun to bat objects away but its a bit slow, I almost didnt want to get the slow motion power up at times. Awesome job though.

Developer

Thanks, will add a bit of juice to the swing after voting ends :)

This game is so much fun lol. I used keyboard and mouse, but feel like it would be really good when using a gamepad. the rotation could feel a little goofy sometimes when using the mouse. Overall super well done!

Thanks for the kinds words, will try to fix it as soon as voting ends

I love the simple but fun concept, and it has a nice amount of polish! Nice job.

There was one small issue I kept running into. I'm assuming the player's rotation is being managed by some kind of tweener or animation player, which is great, but there are some moments when the shortest distance to rotate would be to spin counterclockwise/clockwise, but the player spins the opposite direction (continually rotating the player in one direction causes this to happen every few spins). If you're using some kind of tweener to animate the player's rotation between different angles of degrees, having it switch between a negative and a positive value can cause this to happen. Again, I'm not sure if this is how you programmed it, but I thought I'd bring it up. Still, overall, nice game!

Thanks, will fix once voting ends 😁

Noticed the same bug there with the rotation, especially when going from like up to left, or down to left.

Nice game, everything is clean and smooth. I love how there actual progression and there are so many things to buy in the shop. Got me hooked for half an hour lol 😊

What a game, very fun and the effects are juicy, and there are little to no bugs.

One of the the best games I ever played, def deserves top 100.

The game is very polished and feels complete. I would maybe prefer a faster pace, as the first 5 minutes are really a breeze and the gameplay loop a bit repetitive, you could maybe try adding even move very specific obstacle types like one that requires a specific stick direction.

Really polished and fun to play game.
