How does your game fit the theme?

This game is awesome. Could do full release :D
Thank you for the kind words <3
Thank you so much! Happy to hear that you enjoyed it.
We'd love to work on the game further after the jam if the demand is there. :D
We have way more mechanics and ideas in mind to build on top of the core game!
I really loved the movement system and the minimalistic art style looks fantastic! Very easy to understand but hard to master :)
Thank you for playing! <3
Thank you so much for playing! That's exactly what we were going for so it's very flattering to hear those words. Glad you enjoyed it!
Make this a full game please. This is such a great concept and I love how the movement mechanics feel. A full version of this momentum based platforming would go so hard and I would be your first customer.
Thank you so much for playing! We're happy to hear that you enjoyed the game. Hopefully we can add some more content to the game after the jam ends since our game developer had some plans for it, but because of the time limitation, we weren't able to implement everything :-)
Super happy to hear that you enjoyed it! We'd love to expand on the idea. I had some ideas like bombs that countdown only on hit but not on bounce, or even a bomb that create a platform on detonation. Unfortunately we could work on the game only for 2-2.5 days so we didn't get to implement all the ideas we had but a lesson I learnt from this jam is that it was also a good thing that the game is a short experience because everyone plays tens of games and getting a conclusion is a better player experience than getting stuck at some point and quitting. Hopefully we'll get to work on the game after the jam if the demand is there. :^)
I love the animations in this art style. The controls feel a bit clunky at the start, but the game is really fun.
Thank you for the feedback! Will work on the controls to make them rebindable after the jam hopefully!
Really fun game, love the mechanics
Thank you for playing! Glad you had fun with it.
Really like your take on the “countdown” theme. A lot more mechanics than I expected so could be a little overwhelming but I enjoyed it!
Thank you for playing and writing feedback! I thought it'd be too boring if it got repetitive quickly without the new mechanics or too much information to take in all at once if it was all introduced at the same time. So I wanted to introduce new mechanics on the go. I understand that it might be a bit overwhelming though, which is why there's a play again button for each level even after you complete the level! Thank you for the kind and respectful feedback!
Very cool and fun game!
The amount of content exceeded my expectations, as just when I was thinking that this should be it, new mechanics were being introduced to me :D
Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it. I had even more mechanics in mind such as bombs that create platforms once they explode but wanted to keep it short and on point because of the limited time!
That's a nice idea!
If you update the game to include more content make sure to hmu, I'd love to play more!
For sure, thanks!
This game is Incrediball...get it...
You could say that it's a blast
Very nice integration of the theme and very nice game!
Thank you for the kind words. Glad you enjoyed it!
A bit confusing controls but the game its very cool ! loved it
Thank you for playing! I will hopefully make the controls rebindable after the jam!
I'm very used to c to dash and x to attack so that was quite confusing haha, however really nice game it was pretty cool
Yeah I guess everyone has their own control schemes for platformers. I will work on the controls to make them rebindable post jam. Glad you enjoyed the game nonetheless!
Wow incredible game, actually the most fun I've had from a game this jam. Cool movement tech and a high skill ceiling (and floor, could use some more tutorializing at the start to ease players into it) but it clicked for me pretty quickly.
And the wavedash tech??? I was just playing melee today, got deja vu
Wow, very flattered to hear that, Thank you. We did our best with visual instructions rather than wall of texts for the tutorials but since we had limited time, we tried to keep it concise. And I designed the levels without requiring wavedashing so it's an optional mechanic for the ones who enjoy it. Therefore we didn't have a tutorial for it to avoid confusion for the players who might not know what it is. And ofc happy to see a melee player enjoy our game, thank you!
Very nice physics, the character moves very nicely, nimble but manageable!
Thank you for playing, glad you liked it!
Great visual and solid responsiveness! But too many controls. Check our game pls!
Hey, thank you for playing! I will probably work on the controls to make it rebindable post jam. And ofc, I did check out your game!
I really wanted to like this game but couldn't wrap my head around the controls for attack vs jump vs dash. I would love to remap them if I could. From what I quickly played on stream, it was very good! https://www.twitch.tv/nebsterlive I liked the art, concept and polish, well done!
Thank you for playing it on stream even though I submitted it on the first day of the ratings. I watched the VOD.
One thing I learned from the feedback so far is that there is no control scheme universally accepted for platformers. Some people use WASD, some use arrow keys. Some people said that they would prefer the dash and the jump button to be swapped. One thing you mentioned in the stream was that you want the jump to be up arrow key though. In that case though, it's very common in platformers and platform fighters to have a separate button for the jump because up is for actions that require directional input such as dash and attack, which this game has. I will most likely work on the control scheme though, you're right, it would be perfect if they were remappable but I simply didn't have the time for that in the jam.
Other than that, you played only a few levels, which does not include all the mechanics built around the core mechanic but I appreciate it that you considered that you didn't play it long enough to have an accurate idea of it. From what I've seen so far, people say that the controls were tricky in the beginning but they got used to it so I wish you played it a bit more, maybe it would've clicked for you. I'm not complaining, just accepting the feedback and doing my best to understand and evaluate it. Thanks for playing!
Lovely controls, great concept, and great level design. I had a lot of fun with this. And you can wavedash, amazing!
Thank you for the kind words, glad to hear that you had fun with it. Happy to see another wavedash enjoyer!
Pretty neat game! I like the concept of juggling bombs, but I suck at it.
Thank you for playing! It's a bit difficult for sure, hope you enjoyed it though!
very cool style
Thank you for playing!
i think i hit 2 bombs at a time and it crashed
Yeah I’m sorry there’s a bug I noticed only after the deadline. You can still press esc / click the pause button to pause and unpause, which fixes it. You can also just press R to restart.
this was a lot of fun! juggling bombs was trickier than i expected lol
Thank you for playing, glad you had fun!
