How does your game fit the theme?
In this game you lose your abilities each time you finish the level. You must trace a path to make the level doable even when you have less abilities. It is a countdown because you lose progressively your abilities before ending up with almost nothing.

Really cool game! I liked how you have different ways for placing the ropes, and the puzzles were well designed! I especially liked level 8. It would've been nice if I could both dash through ropes and also attach to ropes while dashing (which is there, but not the other). And maybe the breaking blocks hitbox could be a bit smaller? I kept accidentally breaking two blocks at once on level 9 lol. But otherwise I love the mechanics and the "devolution" concept! Great job!
I loved it, but it got so hard at the end, i think you should have focused on the puzzles difficulty only not the platforming difficulty. Overall it was great!
Great concept, I really enjoyed figuring out what I needed the older generations to do to help the younger ones, even though they could make it to the end very easily. The movement was ok, but losing all momentum while in the air while not holding a/d was jarring, and the rope was really frustrating to interact with. The audio on a victory was also pretty obnoxious with the slide whistle. Still had a good time and everything else was solid outside of those thing.
The idea's really creative with how you lose abilities when devolving and its up to the younger generations to help you. I found the game pretty difficult tho especially the hit boxes on the spikes, and the sound when you finish a level was really loud and didnt really fit the other sfx/music. nevertheless, well done!
Really cool idea love would honestly love to see a full version of this game!
Really cool idea but the hit boxes on the spikes were a bit unforgiving in my opinion
I had fun playing this game! The controls were quick and snappy, so it was easy to pick up :D! Great game!
idea is so creative, but damn... this sound when you complete the level is SOOO ANNOYING. Overall game is great!
I second this opinion!
I like the idea and the mechanics, but I feel like most of the game has yet to be fully polished. I would've loved to see how this would've turned out if you had one or two extra days. This has a lot of potential!!!! Good game :)
I like narrative and i think the game mechanic it’s very addictive and well made. It gave me the right amount of frustration, which for me it’s a very good thing. Also the style is very simple and effective and the music really stucks in your mind!
Such a cool game. The sfx is heaven to my ears, and the art goes so well with it. Loved the "Now do it again without it" haha. Mechanics felt nice, gj!
The narrative and the game design is really innovative but the gameplay is too confusing and hard to progress. I don’t know if this is intended to be a rage game or not but it sure gave me a lot of tries to do. Either way, great job on the game!
I liked the concept, and the underlying narrative that even though your evolved version could solve the puzzle easily, it's necessary to help your devolved next of kin. Good job!
The rope placement was a bit tricky to grasp but once I got it it ended up being a really fun game, well thought out!
Creative idea that has potential to be developped into a whole game.
Issues:
Putting 2 ropes too close together can make the game not know which rope to put you on.
The rope controls are creative, but also feel a little janky.
Level 5 is way harder than the following 2 levels.
Ropes and broken rocks should not remain affected by the current generation if you die with it, having to restart the whole level just because you misplaced a rope is anoying.
Yeah level 5 is supposed to be a little harder because the following levels are tutorials for the dash mechanic. But I maybe made it a little too hard for the first level with 3 generation and so it gate keeps the dash idea.
The level complete sound cracked me! :D Really liked the artwork too!
Cool idea! An interesting puzzle game that has great potential. I got tired of the repeating music loop pretty quickly but the character controller was quite nice.
Great concept! I enjoyed playing it a lot. I like it when the narrative matches the game mechanics so well.
The idea is really cool! The levels feel really well thought out.
The only thing I can think of to improve is that the rope evolution seems to usually have the same path as the last evolution, so you need to do the last part twice.
Very well done!
genius puzzle concept though the controls are whacky
