Thank you for the such in-depth feedback! The difficulty does rise haha, I’ll admit even I had troubles getting to the last one 🤭

We did want to add at least a button to show the cheat sheet but we cut it really close with the deadline and didn’t have time for that in the end so that’s very fair comment (I’m definitely adding that to the “priority list” for a next jam haha)

We have plans to go back after the jam and add a more progressive and explanative introduction to the gears and systems!

Yes, all the art is made with oil pastels and coloured pencils (you can see some of those mixed in with the screenshots) Thank you for your feedback!

I think it’s just nice QoL, not sure if it qualifies as accessibiity (although you could argue it’s of greater help to people with trouble with short term memory haha) - I think my suggestion to unlock it after a few tries might be a great compromise? You’re still forced to actually try but you’re not punished for a silly mistake later on? And I’d argue people that will play your game are people interested in the puzzle elements of it anyway, they’re not likely to use it to cheese their way through it (and if they do, they’re not the ones you want to advertise your game to anyway?) But I agree, it’s a lot to think about, there’s argument to both sides!

Amazing puzzles, super well-made all around from art to level design. My one suggestion we mentioned in the discord would be that undo button, but as you said that’s up for debate!

This is a gem, everything is so well thought out, the whole atmosphere is amazing (I’m biased as Princes & Princesses is my favorite childhood animated movie but still) and the puzzle is super interesting, this is a 5/5 all around

Thanks a lot! The button press checks 2 things: whether the core gear is turning in the right direction, and its speed (which you can also check on the meter: the needle has to be between the green mark (minimum speed required) and the red zone (too fast)). No walkthrough for now, but we plan on making some post-jam improvements and will definitely make all this clearer! Thanks for the feedback

Would have loved to be able to visualise moves when hovering on the choices or cancel what I’d clicked on because I’m a big “clicking everywhere while I think” type of player haha but that’s details, I really like the strategy behind it, and the music and graphics wraps it all up neatly!

Love the idea - super enjoyable execution and chill vibe, this was great all around!

That’s some great bit of puzzling, the mechanic is so simple but you got a lot out of it! And as many I love the background effect, super satisfying

I really dig the vibe - wasn’t exactly sure what I was doing and when/how the timer runs out but I enjoyed it, I think it has great potential if made into a fuller game!

This was fun! Only drawbacks are aiming felt a little hard at times with how fast the enemies move and the shop was a little buggy, but it’s definitely going in the right direction, I love the bottom bullets ui!

Thank you! It was a challenge making it all hand drawn but well worth it :) Yes we want to improve on some of that after the jam, hopefully it’ll be more readable!

Very charming and much more difficult that it looked! I missed the arrow on my first try and only came across full nest so I was a bit confused, but once I got it I enjoyed a couple of (badly played) runs!

This is getting hard real fast, I like it! I was only confused by scoring - different scores when I got perfect result each time?

Oh I did indeed miss that!

Thanks a lot! The narrative is how it ties into the theme, the hearts would shutdown if you didn’t fix them, you’re basically resetting their countdown by doing so.

Thank you so much for the in-depth comment! We’re making plans to improve on it after the jam so it’s very precious. The art is indeed hand drawn, I’m the artist :) Made it all with oil pastels and coloured pencils!

I’m not a good enough (or patient enough) platformer to go far in this game, but I can see where you went with it and I really like the idea behind it! The art vibe is really fitting!

Username checks out

Thanks for your comment, and good job on your flipboard animation! Can’t wait to see the train that goes with it

Due to randomisation I ran into an issue on the first round in that enemies spawned under the cards so I couldn’t target them - a rework of the UI would make it easier I feel, but the strategic side was very interesting to think through, found myself playing a few more runs!

A really good time - I would have loved a bit more variety and maybe faster increasing difficulty but that’s a really good starting point if you’re making it into a fuller game after the jam!

I could have played this one for a while - loved the take on the game and it tickled my mythology nerd brain in just the right way

The rope placement was a bit tricky to grasp but once I got it it ended up being a really fun game, well thought out!

This is absurdly good for a 4 days game, the level of polish, game feels, the synergies between the employees, … love it all

Such a relaxing experience - can’t not love a Vera Lynn soundtrack and the artwork is so pretty!

This is very addictive - and I concur with the sensitivity sliders comments!

I’m a sucker for circus themed anything and this really pulled through, really well executed all around!

This is so very silly in the best of ways

I was a bit confused by the interactions being only controlled with that one lever but the story delivery was very sweet and the artwork is adorable!

Just the right amount of silliness, really nice take on the theme!

Great take on a Balatro-like with the theme! Cards were sometimes a little finicky to get into the slots but other than that it feels great to play

It starts to feel repetitive at times with the mini games but I think it has great potential!

I feel you 🤝 we also fell short on tutorial and in-game explanation

Was confused during my first two runs cause I never got the opportunity to restart the ritual, I think the tutorial was not always timed with the information I got at the moment so that fed into the confusion, but I could see the potential and stuck around because the art really pulled me in!

I’ve destroyed my coloured pencils for that so that means a lot haha, thank you!

Very creative, felt like a proud mama duck getting to the end with almost all of them. Loved the chill atmosphere brought together by the visuals and the music

Clever base idea and very well executed, with cute artwork and frogs to top it off!

Deceptively challenging puzzle! The execution is really neat

Good puzzles! Took me a bit to understand I could rotate the camera so I struggled for a while with visibility but the base idea is great!

Took me a while to understand how the monk worked on that second level and still got confused with the action button sometimes, but there are good ideas to expand upon and the artstyle is really cute, could see myself playing a while with very small improvements!
