Simple yet very creative idea that gives an engaging gameloop. This game felt so nice and fun to play, well done!

Very fun game! I feel like magnus carlsson playing 10 boards at a time!

30-4 was my high score.

It’s a simple idea that’s fun and works just fine, well done.

12-2 was as high as I could get. The difficulty was well-balanced, you really have to earn that “great job” screen!

I was a little disappointed when I found out the AI was just RNG, but I don’t think I could beat an actual bot, so it’s okay for this game.

Either way, you nailed the chalkboard look of it! It even sounded like chalk. Nice work!

Never thought I could enter a flow state in Tic Tac Toe before this game. Awesome!

Wow, didn’t realise tic tac toe would get hard so quickly. I hate time pressures :( Good take on the countdown theme, beautiful animations & I liked the art aesthetic as well, great work :)

Cool simple game, but makes to think faster but concreter! I liked it

very fun game and i love the art style, good job

Short and fun. Funny because the opponent is random the strategy seemed to be to not block them and go straight to building up your 3. Nice sound design as well!

i liked it! fun to play! I noticed even if i lose, i press on a winning position before it dissapear, i still get the plus time. good game!

Great catch! That is indeed a bug in the jam submission. I'll push a bugfix once the jam ends.

Simple but super enjoyable little game!
Always a fan of minimalistic art styles, and yours was implemented well!

Congrats on your entry! :)

Fun and creative game! I enjoyed the hectic nature of trying to make good plays across six different boards. The best score I managed was 62 wins

Its a cool concept I'm not very good at this game though but I still like what your going for, It kinda like infinite tic tac toe, but Better lol I like the style too! Congratz!

Very simple concept, but the Game is really cool! I played it longer than I first thought xD

Wow, what a simple but so well executed concept, awesome stuff! The random plays that computer makes was a great design decision imo, having it not smart, awesome job!!

This was a fun game! Its a pretty simple concept but the count down adds a nice level of urgency to the gameplay. You nailed the chalkboard aesthetic as well. I think one thing you can improve is your visual cues for when the boards are ready. Maybe it was just me, but I would forget/not see that another board was ready. I think there needs to be a bigger difference between the thinking state and the playing state.

Awesome job!

Thanks for the feedback! I am working on punching up the visual feedback for the post-jam updates. Do you think color would help? The thinking state is still white, same as the playable state. Or do you think it should just be "louder" somehow?

Submitted(+1)

Hmm thats a good question. I think thats one of those things where you come up with maybe 2-3 different iterations and trial them separately with play testers. Then you’ll know which is best for bringing attention to the “thinking” boards. Color is a good place to start. Maybe a small particle effect like a sparkle would work too. Good luck!
