How does your game fit the theme?
Spaceships only have a certain number of steps before running out of fuel, they need to be aligned and get to the designated planet before they run out of steps/their count down reaches 0.

Suggestion: failing a level shouldn't reset where you've placed everything on the level.

A very interesting concept, maybe I'm just a bit dense but I couldn't get past level 2 :(

Developer

So sorry to hear that! Did you read the page fully? I didnt have time to make a proper tutorial so I had to explain some things in the description

fun and interesting game! The puzzles were quite clever too! Also fits the theme in a unique way

I think it has the building blocks for a great puzzle game! I personally would've needed a bit more guidance on how the systems worked, but after I figured that out that was very impressive take in my opinion! Having the ability to move the different powerups and effects was creative. Good job!

Much more challenging than I expected! but a lot of fun one I got the hang of it, great job!

A great design and concept! It’s really fun and fits the “Countdown” theme perfectly. It would be even better if some item usage hints could be added within the levels!

Cool game! I like the take on cellular automata but instead of the kill condition being a countdown as opposed to a number of neighbours.

Developer

Thank you! Good catch on the cellular automata concept

I really enjoyed this game! The idea is very creative and feels quite different from the other entries I've played so far. It has a unique identity, and I liked how the mechanics work together to create interesting puzzles.

I also think it's a very creative interpretation of the theme. The gameplay encourages experimentation, and figuring out the right solution is really satisfying.

Overall, this is a memorable and original entry. Great job, and congratulations on your contribution to the jam!

Developer

Thank you! I really hope it gets featured or played on stream

a challenging but relaxing game! :) it took me some time to solve the puzzles because i'm terrible with numbers, but the music + space visuals made me wanna stick around and solve the game
well done on this submission! :)

Developer

Thank you! I'm glad you stuck around to finish it :)

Fun and satisfying! I finished all the levels!

I was confused by some mechanics (esp not knowing about rotating items, and which could be moved) but the page description cleared that all up. The main frustrating thing I had was when I failed a level, it all reset - I wish it remembered the solution I had tried, so I could start from there and make minor tweaks, rather than having to start from scratch! But it made me try hard to count and plan perfectly rather than just winging it :P

I love puzzles, and I like the mechanics and levels you came up with! Great job

Developer

Thank you very much! I'm glad the page helped you out because I couldn't implement a proper tutorial in time ._.

Really impressive work. Wishing you all the best on what’s next

It's a good idea for a puzzle game but I didn't understand that you could move the "powerups" (I read the description but it didn't clock to me that those were powerups) so I ended up dragging the rocket to the end until it got to 2 rockets and I understood but finished some puzzles by clicking/dragging one of the rockets after they launched because I couldn't figure out the solution haha. The mechanic of having 9 turns max is really interesting as well, I think this could be a really great game if developed a bit more. Some sort of tutorial/levels where you have almost no freedom except to do the one skill required that you have to learn might work. It's a little bit too open too early.

Thanks for the feedback! I am a one person team and this has been pretty rushed as I had to finish everything by myself in just 2 days, so sorry it's a bit rough around the edges.

Also did update my game page to give a better tutorial/understanding of the game, so again thanks for your input :)

I like the concept and think it could be cool. But i’m struggling getting past the second level, maybe i’m missing an understanding of the mechanics?

Developer

Very sorry about that! I updated my game page so you might get a better understanding of the mechanics that way
