This was spectacular, five stars for everything. Instead of treating the countdown like a time to beat, you need to coordinate your pose with it. Really inspired premise. Beautiful art, beautiful writing, beautiful music. And really clever scenarios, too! The whole game just drips with imagination. This deserves 1000 times more attention.

One of my favorite games from this game jam, fun, silly, charming and on theme! It was in perfect jam-lenght and easy to pick up, i didn't find any bugs, so well made, congrats to the dev! :D

I love that this is a character-driven game; there really are not enough of those, and that makes it very compelling. The graphics and music are nice, and there's a surprising amount of variety to the levels. You drew a LOT of assets here!

The main drawback is that most of the levels are not very challenging. The main exception is the levels in the middle where the subjects don't want to be photographed; those are a bit more tense.

I could've easily made it a lot harder, but I wanted everbody to be able to easily finish it. I've made the experience that people get frustrated quickly during gamejams

I know where you're coming from! All of MY jam games turn out harder than they were meant to be, and I know that it means my fellow jammers don't get to enjoy as much of the content I worked so hard to make.

On the other hand, challenge is the texture of videogames. When it's too watered down, it can be hard to say what the "game" is, exactly. So balance is needed. But balance takes time, which we don't have in game jams...

Really fun idea. I always tried to make a cool jumping kick pose on every picture. I also like how the pictures are displayed in the end as a photo gallery. Great stuff.

Very creative game!

This is my favorite game so far. Camera countdown is not something that even crossed my mind. I really like that the photos saved at the end (I mean it's a camera game, what can you do?) The story was hilarious. The art is phenomenal. The sound design is peak. I loved this game. The only thing I think I could say you could improve on is having a third layer of platforming. Awesome game. Thank you for making it!

really creative and excellent storytelling! It was funny to me once I realized how to play, I messed up so many of the photos at first before I realized the background mechanic! Loved the ending and the montage of all my photos. The punching bag flying kick was by far my favorite :D

Developer

Haha! I didn't even know you can post videos on Itch comments. Thank you for that :)
Yea I was thinking hard on how to make it more obvious that you have to walk into the background.

Very well done, great artwork and SFX A little fast, but that’s life sometimes :)

Developer

Thanks! Do you mean fast as in "short" or as in "the game moves to quickly"?

Submitted

Game moves to quickly. I think whole game duration was good

Developer

Ah, makes sense. Yea some of the levels were a bit tight on the timer. I figured it wasn't too bad since you can restart and try again very quickly, but did see some frustration in playtesting.

So fun! I wasn't expecting this plot when I started the game. I really enjoyed it, very fun, and the music fits the game very well. Good job!

Hey that was fun!
