Very cool game the art is so good. If you have a second, I’d super appreciate a rating back on my game The Last Light

Great game! But when I first started playing, I didn't know I had to go to the fishing spot, so I thought that the fishing wasn't working for me and refreshed the page multiple times. I would make moving to the fishing spot much clear on what you're doing.

I really liked the fishing minigame itself, but I was a bit confused about what triggers the ability to start fishing, it felt a bit random.

Cool and simple gameplay loop! Truly a relatable experience, sneaking out to fish sharks.

A nice and surprisingly cozy game to pass the time. The visuals are cute. A bit more polish on the UI would go a long way to bring this to the next level. Overall though, props to the devs! Gut gemacht!

Sneak fishing? Sign me up!! The mechanics were really fun!

One I figured out how to fish it was quite fun, and I enjoyed catching sharks, they had really good animations. I also loved the music and the fishing rod sounds. I did find one bug which was that if you go far enough down, the line stops connecting to the hook.

Came back to leave proper feedback after someone else asked how to actually fish (just keep driving until the button turns green for anyone trying to figure it out!) I think that mechanic, getting out to the fishing spot, could be used well if given a bit more purpose (maybe the wife sees the damage, or you have to pay to repair the boat, etc). But once I got there, the fishing minigame was nice and responsive. I liked the pixel art for the few fish that were there - if you guys are continuing development on this after the jam, I'd love to see more variety in the fish. I'm assuming that since there are only two that one of your team-mates created the pixel art for them, they did great at getting the shapes and coloring in there.

Same question as below. Also, some feedback for the future - the viewport was too big for both of my screens so I had to scroll side to side to be able to do anything. I'm not sure what sort of settings that would require (as I'm just an artist) but definitely something to keep in mind for future jams!

thank you, yeah the one respocable for it just has this huge screen and we didnt had the time to fix it haha

Ah yeah, we had some fighting with Unity in the end as well, took a few suggestions from the Discord and some other places to find something that worked but WebGL viewports are just rude sometimes XD

How do I fish? I click the start fishing button but nothing seemed to happen.

Developer

you need to drive a certain distance, but we currently working on a tutorial video explaining stuff

My tutorial broke, so I'm going to have to make a video as well.
