Very unique concept with great art. I got a good chuckle out of the gameplay.
Only thing that's missing for me would be something that tells you how close to the ground you jumped. People could post their high scores or try to get as close to the wire as possible.

also if you mash the jump key before the elevator sequence starts you can phase through the elevator for a bit :D

It could be interesting to try to figure out how to include some sort of replayability in the story, so trying to get a better time is possible without breaking away from the narrative.
