At first, I found it a bit difficult to grasp the game's mechanics; specific instructions are needed to help players easily understand how to play. That said, I quite like the background music, and the artwork isn't bad at all!
By the way, if you have time, please rate my game. I hope you enjoy it.
Sure! Thanks for playing and the feedback
A bit weird. Like the music is SO loud and when i reset my music settings are also restarted. I never excepted something like that but i still loved tho
Thanks for playing. Sorry about that, I added the music slider very late.
Interesting concept!
Thanks!
Very cool concept, with some classic roguelike vibes. I did notice that you can just walk through walls, tho, which let me somewhat cheese the time concept by saving steps,
Hey thanks for playing! Glad you liked it. I found out about that bug after sadly, thanks for the feedback
Nice idea and use of the theme! The controls are a bit unintuitive, but I had fun!
Thanks for playing! Yeah I noticed that, my bad haha
very cool concept, definitely can see how this can get interesting with procedural generation/ more obstacles (enemies, objects, etc.) with the need to weigh decisions.
Thanks for playing the game! I agree that would add a lot to it.
Interesting idea, but I see a lot that can be improved here: 1) an option to replay the game without having to reload the browser page every time would be nice. 2) your pixel art is blurred. If this isn't intended, then you might want to use the texture filter nearest and not bliniear. 3) A better font can improve your game (there are lots of free fonts on the internet) 4) I think I found a bug: When you die, it says "seconds until death" followed by a negative number, which I think shouldn't be the case... 5) The game has no sound effects. Sound effects can also improve the game's feel by a lot. 6) The background is just pitch black, I think a castle-like/ brick background or sth like that can help to set the scene.
I hope these aspects will help you with your future games
Thank you for all the feedback! So, I'll answer these, 1) On the left side under controls there actually is a restart and its R. 2) I will check that out, thank you 3) I agree, I used the default. 4) tbh I probably should have done something with that. It wasn't a bug as much as an oversight. 5) I agree here. 6) also true lol Sadly I didn't have time to do any polishing at all. Thanks for all the helpful advice though (:
Cool concept! More complex layouts like mazes or obstacles would make it even more interesting. Maybe making attacks cost some time would create some interesting choices. Really enjoyed the idea! :)
Thanks! Appreciate you playing the game! I agree, I originally wanted to do procedural with obstacles, but I just didn't have time to work on it.
Yoo that's interesting GG !
Gave me a good dopamine hit
Nice, that's all I can ask for. Thanks for playing!
Not sure what to do, but I went on a killing spree and then the boss killed me.
That's pretty much what you do, other than die, you aren't supposed to do that haha just kidding, thanks for playing!
I am simultaneously crypt of the necrodancer and minit vibes. I think some guidance would have helped, but nevertheless admirable.
Hey thanks a lot for playing, I love those games haha
Could use some better instructions, but pretty neat otherwise
Yeah you're right. Thanks for playing
idea is good! It was a little bit strange to realize that i can walk through the wall but i used it for my own purposes
Wow, I tested the walls early on and then never tested them again, but we can call it a feature XD thanks for playing
Made it out alive! Took me a second to realize I could talk to that one lady for the potion
haha yeah I probably should have made it more obvious. Thanks for playing!
