Nice game!

just add a grid or something to make tha bulding sistem more intuitive.

Thanks for your input! Appreciate you for playing our game.

Initially got confused because the description said to drag items from the side, however dragging just scrolled it. Eventually read on to learn that dragging means click and click again ^^” Was an interesting experience and nice to see some more realistic stats! The game just kind of forces you to idle it for a while because the upgrades are so expensive. I only bought the golden cockpit (twice, because my ship exploded due to mass limits) and got to an altitude of like 60. Still was fun to check this game out!

Developer

Thank you for your words! You're right about lowering the prices and we'll keep that in mind, we really appreciate it. Glad you could enjoy playing our game, though!

Interesting concept. However there doesn't seem to be much in variety, and I have to relaunch (and wait for that timer) multiple times before I can purchase anything. Also I'm not able to control my rocket in any way.

Developer

Hi, thanks for playing the game and your feedback is appreciated. Masterdragon863 implemented instant launch, bypassing the timer if the L-key is pressed. As for control, if you meant controls like changing the direction of the rocket, that wasn't necessarily intended—your build automatically determines how the launch will go—but thank you for your words.

Not my cup of tea kinda game but still fun

Think I've seen like 4 rocket games though now maybe I should try one too 😭

Developer

Hahaha, thank you.

Nice game, I am no rocket scientist, but I enjoyed it, with full screen some objects were out of screen, but it was ok without full screen,

If you are planning to work on it later, manual on what each object is and how it can be improved to increase the height would be nice :)

I enjoyed overall

Developer

Thanks so much for letting us know! Your words are very appreciated and we'll definitely keep them in mind. Good luck for the jam, and thanks again.

Nice concept! I tried out a few builds but had a difficult time getting past ~21 or so initially.

Maybe some things that could help are things like:

- Start launch timer to skip directly to launch? It helps in the beginning as accumulating currency is kinda slow

- Maybe a remove part button would be nice too, given I want to experiment with different ideas

I didn't end up getting to being able to buy parts, but was very curious what happens when you go over the max mass! I love these games where you see your build work / fall apart so definitely enjoyed it

Developer(+1)

Hi, thank you so much for your feedback and we appreciate you for playing our game! We'll definitely keep these ideas in mind. As for your second point, there is currently a way to remove parts by right-clicking on them—though a button is a great idea too. Additionally, going over the max mass will cause your rocket to explode, haha. Thank you again.

Developer(+2)

If I remember correctly, I had implemented a launch now feature by using the L key, I think I must have missed putting that in the description. Thanks you for your feedback.

Fun game! Trying to assembly my rocket while time is ticking down made for some hectic and engaging gameplay. I also built a game about automatic rocket launches so its interesting to see how different our games are!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your comment! It's cool that we both had a different take on this idea, and I just rated your game as well :)
Thanks again for playing our game.

This is an original idea great work ! Upgrading each run is always fun :)

Developer

Thanks for playing! Glad to hear that you like it, appreciate your words. :)

It's a fun idea ! Nice work !

Developer

Thank you so much!

Good rocket building game, can work more on the UI though, Keep up the good work! (and maybe consider trying my game on your way if you want)

Developer

Thanks a lot for your feedback! Just rated your game too :)

I like the fact that you have a shop, and seeing the rocket fly is nice :) a bit more sound wouldve been cool

Developer

Thanks so much, will keep that in mind!

Mine was 40 ish. good game.

Developer

Thank you so much! Glad you liked the game. :)

Yay! Made it to altitude 53.3. I love this kind of rocket building games.

Developer

Thanks for playing, and I'm happy you enjoyed playing.

I think I ran into some bugs or I just didn’t get it. but I wouldn’t have enough parts to build the rocket properly. I ended up restarting the game a few times. I like the ability to build the ship in a modular way. I love space travel so this was fun for me

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing, I'm happy you liked it.

Nice fun idea. I really liked it. It reminded me of the fun parts of Kerbal Space Program, but a lot easier which I really liked :)

I initially thought it was bugged because I thought I was supposed to drag from the inventory to place it on the assembly area rather than pressing to select the part and then pressing in the assembly area to place.

Also it would have been nice to have some sort of transition from when the fuel runs out rather than just an abrupt cut. Maybe like a result so we get some feedback.

I managed to find an exploit which allowed me to fly forever, which kind of broke the game a bit.

Good job with the game! :)

Developer(+1)

Thank you for trying out our game and I'm glad you liked it. Also thanks for your feed back it would help us with future jams to keep it in mind. The reason as to why we didn't implement the drag, was that unity was buggy us (specifically me) though out the jam, and it wasn't working properly. So I thought it would've been simpler and easier to implement the select click system. Would you mind to tell us what the exploit is?

Submitted(+1)

Yeah it was a very tight deadline, so its hard to get everything fixed of course. It wasnt really a problem once I figured it out though, so hopefully other players dont get stuck on it :)

Regarding the exploit: If you have a booster selected when the flying starts, then you can build->remove->build->remove->build the booster infinitely during the flying phase, and it just restocks your fuel.

There is nothing that prevents you from building when its flying :D

Developer(+1)

It appears we forgot 2 if statement. Thanks for informing us.

Fun idea! Congrats

Developer

Thank you! Good luck for the jam!

The artwork is really good

Submitted(+2)

Interesting, albeit quite buggy. I was able to find a way to go up infinitely pretty much immediately, after fumbling about with the UI for a hot second.

Submitted(+2)

I like the idea, but sadly the game was quite buggy.

Developer(+1)

Thanks you for the feedback. Would you care to explain what was buggy?

Submitted(+2)

At some point, all of my parts disapperd and I got softlock, not being able to do anything to progress in the game itself. I think that was the worst of it, there might have been more bugs, but I sadly dont remember them.

Developer(+1)

I think your parts might have exploded. So when your mass is over the max mass limit, your parts explode. We had a VFX for that but for some reason the unity export didn't work properly and it got cut. It was also late at night, and I wasn't able to keep my eyes open to fix it. The soft lock part we ran out of time, cause we misjudged the scale. I thank you for playing our game though.
