How does your game fit the theme?
In our game, your health is the countdown timer. That constantly ticks down

Nice game! The idea is fun and the art looks great. I think adding some hit effects when the ship takes damage would make everything feel even punchier, but overall it’s a solid take on the theme. Great job!
very nice game, i suggest that very time the ship gets hit add some effects, but overall great takes on the theme
Nice little arcade shooter
The game could use some sounds, and maybe a scrolling background to really feel like you’re flying through space. Great job on your first game, this is great!
Interesting concept where the timer is a health bar, and having a character portrait was a nice touch.
I didn't like how the bullets shrank when they hit an enemy, it made it feel like i wasn't hitting them, letting them just disappear instantly would've been better imo
Timer as a health bar is always cool to see ! Arcade room owners would've loved the concept lol.
The art is cute ! And the enemy patterns are actually quite nice. With just a little polish and audio this could really end up great !
Always up for some classic shoot'em'ups! Solid take with using timer as health bar, and got a couple enemy types in there! Welcome to Godot!
Congrats on completing your first Godot game! :)
I'm a big fan of the dashing enemies, cool design!
Thank you very much ♡♡♡
the art looks really cool!!! <3 i love it
Thank you very much :D !!!!
This is a solid start! Keep making games and experimenting.
♡♡♡
Great job for the first time in the engine, it would feel better if the enemies had visibly taken damage so i can see if i hit them! Had a great time tho!
Thank you very much for your feedback. We are really happy you enjoy our game :D.
For a first project in an unfamiliar engine this was definitely a good start! Responsive controls is definitely a thumbs up. What would have really given this that extra level of 'oomph' would have been some visual/audio feedback on your shots - the enemies visually shaking/flashing/some sort of animation when getting hit, the sound of your laser firing or the impact sound of your lasers hitting the enemy, as well as a similar visual/audio feedback when taking a hit too. But overall, great job on your first game in Godot!
It got pretty hard later on wow
Fun lil game!
Thank you :D
Congratulations on submitting your first game it was great! The only piece of feedback I have is that you should add some sfx.
Fun game, did enjoy it!
Can be tied more directly to count down in some way shape or form, a generic count down isnt the strongest theme.
I liked the enemy variation and the attack variation.
Movement also was pretty tight and easy to use
Thank you very much for the feedback. We're really happy you did enjoy our game.
Great first attempt! Some bigger collision boxes around the enemies would be beneficial! and some more feedback from inputs, maybe the ability to shoot with space or enter would help with playing on a laptop! but good game!
It would a lot better if you improved the feedback on shooting it kinda feels empty idk how to describe.
This was a fun game! It had a nice difficulty curve: the game was chill at first, easing you into the mechanics, and then suddenly got a lot harder. I really had to lock in near the end as I got swarmed with bullets! I really liked the artstyle for this game as well. Great work with this game!
You near the end:
Thank you very much for playing our game :D
Could use some particle effects and audio but for a first game it's really well done! The gameplay was easy to understand and fun. It reminded me of the bullet hell game Aces of the Luftwaffe, maybe that can be a source of inspiration. Good luck with the jam :)
