So a half minute distraction grows into hours of time wasted  on your phone?
Genious commentary.

Cool Game !!! Game has lot of juice in it ! Initially I haven't understood what to do then realised that the gun's direction is changing cool mechanic. GG !

very cool!!! incredible aesthetics

THIS GAME IS SO COOOOOL, I never play random games but i stumbled across this one and WOW!!! Definitely giving you a follow

love the game. really like the clock shooting idea and the whole time mechanic. if yoiu keep workingn on this game you should add more enmies and and add some music. I think it would be nice if the player was a little bigger so its a little bit easier to see where he is shooting. but this might just be a personal preffrence.

Developer

Thanks! my music friend dropped out so it got the developer special at the last moment ahah, got any enemy ideas?

Interesting twist of the jam theme, gj :DD

Developer

Thanks! I thought it was a great theme!

Weirdly mesmerizing! Maybe a cool iteration of if could be that the clock keeps spinning round, but when you click you get a small window where it stays still so you can have some, but not absolute, control in where you shoot? Nice job on it! ♥️

Developer

interesting idea! thanks for playing

I really liked the art and athmosphere in this one :)

Thank you!

I like that I can't even tell how you achieved the interesting graphical effects. Awesome aesthetic and I had fun :)

Developer

Ha thanks! Fun fact, the palette is locked to only be able to show sticky note colours

Really fun game, and I like how the clock hand deciding where you shoot makes it so you focus on evading and kiting. It would be nice if there were some movement mechanic (maybe at a cost of time), as when I found myself with the enemies on the opposite side of the clock hand, it took a while to wrap all the way around. Really enjoyed the game as a whole and spent a long time playing

Agree, teleporting to the mouse or something would be cool!

Developer

This is a great idea, if i expand the game in future i’ll be sure to include it, i considered a dash, but the trade off with time is a great way to balance it. Appreciate the thought!

SO incredibly creative and cool, loved it! The dithered art reminded me of ape out, super stylized and interesting. The clock hand being where you shoot was so awesome. Great work!!!

Developer

Thank you so much!!!!!

I think the theme is about distraction by stuff like phone notification, chat message? I like the idea of the clock hand being the shoot direction. The shotgun shoot feel a bit randomly though, I wish there an indicator to it. Add some upgrades and it even more fun.

Developer(+1)

Entirely fair, shotgun atm is just each of the 4 cardinals, i think if i expanded on the gameplay a bit in future it’d be cool to have upgrades only impact select second ranges, like pickup rocket launcher upgrade, select which X second segment you want it on, etc. Appreciate you playing!

Very cool and dream-like. This guy should make a whole game that emulates the vibes of dreams 🤔

The rotating hand of the clock being the direction that you shoot is quite clever, I like :)

Developer(+1)

That’s a great idea, i should do that and release it next month!

Entirely unrelated, but I might be showing off that golf game idea we talked about at IGDAM this month too

Oh no way, hell yeah! Can't wait to try it out, I shall be there 🫡

Gives me Juice Galaxy vibes, and the concept of not being able to directly control where to shoot is really fun!

Developer(+1)

Thank you, it was a great theme! Juice Galaxy looks great, will have to suss further!

Kind of reminds me of the berzerk arcade game with how the corridors are laid out! It's a unique idea I think you executed well!

Developer(+1)

Thank you, appreciate the kind words, office layouts are especially hard when you wanna avoid corridors lolol

I liked this game a lot. Nice idea and implementation

Developer

Thank you, it was a great theme!

Haha, I have NO IDEA how to describe this survivors like game. There's a lot of nice little touches in this, lighting effects, the friction from the... I'm calling it mop monster, no idea what you called it, and so on. Probably the most unique game I'll see this jam. it's a nice trip!

Developer

Thanks! I wanted the enemies to all deal with the idea of distractions both in gameplay and design!

Submitted(+1)

Quite fun! You had me distracted lol! I would make the music a little less repetitive for next time though.

Developer

Thanks! and that’s a great call, I have a friend who was gonna do the music but he got sick and pulled out : , ( so it got the programmer special in the audio department

Submitted

It's a cool idea, but it would be nice if the game were a little more dynamic. It feels a bit sluggish.

Submitted

Really cool idea!! The artstyle is really well-picked!
