I really liked the idea that the time left is converted to currency for the shop.
Quite clever.

How does your game fit the theme?
The game is a deck-building roguelike where pretty much everything is on a timer, "counting down." Enemies have timers counting down to their next attack. Each level has a timer counting down, and whatever's left is converted to currency when the level ends. The deck redraw mechanic is on a countdown too, ticking toward your next redraw. And energy, used to play cards, refills every second, so every card you play feels like it's counting down as well.
