This was very relaxing and wonderful looking game! Great job to you and your team on your submission, I look forward to seeing how you might build on this if you have more time!

Developer

Thanks so much - I'm happy you enjoyed the game:) Indeed, we planned more levels, but handdrawn art takes lots of time, so I just didn't manage to finish everything in just 4 days. But we plan to continue the development of the game once the jam is over:) There will be more of Mochi's adventures:)

This game was sooo cute, I loved the art and the little sound effects and it's very unique among the the games I've seen. I really liked it!

this is amazing and i love the attention to detail like, the way the foreground and the background intersects to make it feel like you're really right there looking around is so much fun!

Unreal levels of polish and artistry. Using parallax in a look-and-find style game like this is genius. I didn't realize that some of the bugs can only be found if you zoom so that took me a second.

The amount of polish put into this is amazing! Sad that there aren't more levels yet, but that's just the reality of time constraints. Nice job!

Developer

thanks so much! Yes, 4 days just wasn't enough to finish everything we planned - handdrawn art takes a lot of time. But we will continue development after the jam is over:)

This is really charming... The hidden-object format fits Mochi really well because the whole game feels like following a tiny chaos brain from one interesting thing to the next. I liked how the intro sets up the ceramics shop and the forest without making it feel like a wall of story. The watercolor style also does a lot here, since it makes the scenes feel soft and handmade instead of just cute game asset pack. The little map/path screen with all the animals gives the game a nice storybook feeling too. Mochi is such an easy character to root for (even tho he is clearly the problem lol). Very sweet entry, and it has a way stronger identity than many games here!

Developer

thank you so much for kind words!:) It honestly cheers me that you noticed so many of the little details we put into the game:) Handdrawn art takes a lot of time to make and I'm always happy when somebody notices it:)

We wanted the whole experience to feel warm, cozy, and handcrafted, so hearing that it came across that way is incredibly rewarding:)

Mochi is the cutest - and I really want to hug him!:) We are thinking of making more of his adventures after the jam is over:) It's especially motivating since the response to the game has been so much more positive than we ever imagined:)

Super cute game! The artwork looks beautiful.

It wasn't easy to find all the bugs. I needed a couple hints at the end,  and even with the hints, they were still hard to find!  😅

Developer(+1)

thanks so much! I'm really glad you managed to find all the critters - some were quite tricky:) It was really fun to make the game and we will make more of Mochi's adventures after the jam is over:)

The cozy hidden-object setup suits Mochi perfectly, and the parallax scenes, sniff hint, and adorable artwork make searching for every critter really charming!

Developer

Thank you so much!:)  The parallax was something we  wanted to try to make the scene feel a bit more alive -  I'm really happy you enjoyed it!We'll definitely keep developing it after the jam!:)

This was delightful!

very cute comfy fun art style! a hidden object game is always a fun vibe, and the unique spin of having the parallax hid a lot of the bugs made it fun. not much of a sping on the theme other than the count of the bugs going down as u collect them lol, but a very fun nice and polished hidden object game overall. great submission !

Ye, we really wanted to make a game with Mochi and figured this would be close enough :D Thanks for the feedback, glad you enjoyed it!

mochi is a great mascot !! congrats on your results !

Very cute art! Love the little dog. Not a ton of game here, but finding bugs did pull me in long enough to want to keep going until I found them all.

If you have a minute, I'd really appreciate if you checked out the puzzle game me and my team made and maybe give it a rate!

Developer(+1)

It's light on gameplay for sure. We hope to expand on it a bit, both story- and gameplay-wise, for a full game. I guess a hidden object game will always be relatively light on gameplay, though :) I'll take a look at your game. Gl in the jam!

Very cute and heartwarming 💚

Really cute, and lovely artwork. I'm sad you didn't get a chance to finish the other maps, I'd love to see them if you continue with it after the jam.

Developer

thank you! yes, hand-drawn art takes a lot of time and on the 4th day of the jam I realised that there is no way I will finish all three levels that we planned. But we will continue development after the jam is over - and hopefully we will make lots of Mochi's adventures:)

Mochi is the cutest shiba ever! I love him! Looking forward to discover more of Mochi's life.

The game is really nice, well polish and the art is amazing. You did an awesome work and I'm sorry some folks were plain mean.

Thank you so much!:) I'm so happy you liked Mochi - I'd like to hug him too!:) We have lots more ideas for his adventures;)

And thank you for your kind words.  I completely understand that everyone has their own opinions and preferences - hidden object games are a niche genre, so I know they won't click with everyone. What matters most to me is that so many people have genuinely enjoyed the game and found it relaxing—that's exactly what we were hoping to create. Comments like yours really motivate us to keep developing the game:)

Really chill game. Very nice artwork, would love to play more maps. Well done though, I needed a few shiba sniffs to find all the critters :D

Developer

I'm really pleased you enjoyed the game:) Some critters were very tricky to find;)

Yes, hand-drawn art takes a lot of time (but hopefully the result is worth it:)) and on the last day of the jam I realised that there is no way I will finish all levels that we planned. But I cant wait continue development after the jam is over - and hopefully we will make lots of Mochi's adventures:)

This game is awful the only good thing it has is the art style. There is NO gameplay. This is a game jam not an art show.

Developer

Thank you for giving the game a try and for sharing your opinion.

I understand that hidden object games aren't for everyone. They're generally designed to be slow-paced and relaxing rather than challenging or action-oriented, so the gameplay is intentionally different from many other jam entries. That said, I understand that this game genre  just didn't resonate with you.
