Very cool, took me a while to get used to changing the numbers myself and admittedly i struggled a bit at first. But I really like the idea a lot and solid puzzle design all around. well done!
Great game and cool idea! I liked how some of the levels had multiple solutions, even in later levels.
I don't think the charging mechanic added anything. I wouldve liked to drop instantly once I know where i want to be.
The microwave theme was very well done
I got stuck on 34/33 because i didn't understand the delay on lava tiles, and the level had a lot of special tiles convoluting it.
For browser games, its best to avoid using the escape key because thats the exit fullscreen button
Thank you for the review and feedback.
The main purpose of the charging mechanic is to check if player is on solid ground, is not moving, and for previewing the next level (without additional controls).
The delay of lava tiles is the same as the hollow tiles. The idea was to have these 2 tiles with same delay and the platform tile with double the delay.
We will definitely try to improve the explanation of this maybe with an additional sticky note after the jam along with escaping also using P key.
Congrats on getting almost to the end. Levels 36-32 are the most complicated ones, after which there are only the outro levels.
I did beat the game actually, but I only managed to beat 34/33 with a random guess and it wasn't until afterward I understood why the solution worked
Nice job! I reallyl iked your puzzles and also the sticky notes on the right are a wonderfull idea to comunicate with the player, well done!
Fantastic concept and well made! Good job!
I remember thinking one potentially neat idea would have been walking numbers that are counting down, so I'm glad you made a game around this theme! I wasn't sure how that concept could be properly fleshed out into a game in a way that worked, but you nailed it. The fact that dying consistently takes you to the previous number was a bit tricky for me to realize at first, as I felt like I was randomly losing a little bit of progress, but it makes sense in retrospect, and since most of the effort is just figuring out what to do, it didn't feel too punishing.
This one was actually so much fun, one of my favorite platformers/puzzle platformers that I've played so far. Even if it was probably a time constraint thing, the whole clock resetting thing was pretty neat. I think you did a great job with the level design considering the constraint of each level needing to be those 2 numbers counting down.
Oh my goodness this is such a smart idea! these puzzles are actually really good, though I got stuck on 34 to 33. This is definitely my favorite take on the theme from this jam. well done!
What a great and original game ! Loved the fact that the player decides when to quit and how much therapeutic this game feel, if it wasn't for my real life responsibilities I would have continued for so much longer. Great puzzle and great platforming !
Great game! The audio glitching out effect was pretty cool (if that was intentional, maybe the audio engine started dying at an interesting time).
Very cool!
This has got to be most creative take on the theme I've seen yet. A really cool idea to have each platforming puzzle outlined by the numbers in a count down, and it's really well executed and got a lot of mileage out of a simple but creative mechanic. The exact logic of phasing through the platforms wasn't super clear to me at first (like how you can actually fall through several layers if they're close enough) but it was satisfying to figure out.
Well done!
Pretty tricky but very engaging and beautifully made!
i got stuck at level 36 in an infinite loop :|
oh i cant change level either sad.
Yeah, there are some problems unfortunately.
The game auto saves so you should be able to just reload the game.
Yeah, we didn’t manage to eliminate this bug with the limited time. The game creates a save so it might be possible to reload the page and will respawn you correctly (there is also an option to delete the save and restart it from beginning). I would like to go over it and update the game so that this doesn’t happen.
yea, it still stuck in the infinite loop, ill replay it once you got the new update!
very creative idea, using the numbers as the puzzle level itself (will be using it as an idea if i ever requires it ;)
dude this game is so amazing, probably the slowest minute of my life ever
I really liked how each microwave digit becomes a different platforming puzzle. Previewing the next number before committing made me plan ahead instead of just rushing the countdown, and watching the whole level reshape as the number changed was such a clever use of the theme 😄 The old LCD look and sticky-note hints fit the setting perfectly. Really creative game!
very intriguing and unique game design. the color scheme is nice and the music was funky (in a good way). i liked playing it, it was just slightly confusing for me at first
Some of those levels left me scratching my head, but in a good way! Nicely done. Sad I couldn't eat the popcorn at the end :(
That was great! Some of the levels were quite tough, and I really like the lookahead/rewind system, it works really well! I managed to beat the game but I didn't get my popcorn :'(
You really managed to get everything out of one half of the microwave display, I loved the creativity involved :D and the post-its were a nice touch.
Good stuff!
creative but i cant really seem to make much progress
Very creative! I like the combination of platformer and puzzle.
