I’m not sure why, maybe it was my browser, maybe my computer, but the main music that plays during the game was pretty choppy for me. The extra music from the keyboard sounded fine, along with the music when the credits appear.
Having said that, this was a super enjoyable game to play. I loved the vibe of the game, the music (from what I was able to hear) set the mood just right, and the hand drawn art really stole the spotlight. Great work, team!
Very nice game! I got tricked by the gasoline. I could've imagined that effect, but it lead me straight into the darkness.

I loved this for how it takes something simple and manages to turn into a lot more. Its one of the more interesting and unique takes on the theme I have seen this jam. And the art is very charming.
super cute! I absolutely love the hand drawn art style, and the analog sounds are neat. I think if this were to be expanded, and some extra items like a backpack to carry more firewood or something that lets you sprint for a few seconds would be cool. I did like the piano on the ground though that was fun :)
I think this one was a great game idea from the countdown theme! And music fit well! And also the visuals were strong! Nice game!
a lovely reminder that a game doesn't need challenge to be interesting or engaging. wonderful drawings, and the music gave a sense of awe when the darkness expanded to its largest form. piano was a nice touch hehe. thank you for making this :)
Gorgeous game ! Having both hand drawn art and home made music really is an achievement in such short notice ! I once locked myself by droping the torch in the darkness to pick up a log because then i couldn’t leave the light circle nor pick the torch back up. But except for that it was a lovely experience !
Loved the detail of using the piano to change the music! It’s also incredibly satisfying to watch the fire grow larger every time you throw in fuel. Good stuff
everything about this was so unique and charming! it was a very easy progression through the game, but at the same time it was engaging! really liked this one, good work
very fun! gave katamari damacy vibes kinda, the sounds and music were fitting, cool art style and very satisfying to solve the main puzzle. could see several stages using this mechanic with different twists to mix it up. also... what is that in the bottom right? in the trees?
This is such a lovely experience, my first playthrough was really fun, I loved seeing how different things made the fire become brighter and stay for longer. I used the fuel and started running for the tent only to have to run back in panic and I really liked that! The piano changing the music was a fun touch!
The music is phenomenal and I really liked how it became crunchy when you went into the dark with the torch! One issue I did run into with the torch was that if I was already out in the dark, set it down and picked up a larger log I got stuck as it wouldn't then let me put down the log to pick up the torch again.
Overall I love the artstyle, the vibe for the whole game is really cohesive and solid and fits the theme perfectly! nice work!!
Really nice music and art, and it was rlly fun! Very creative way of interpreting the theme!
really cool arty game, love a bit of the handdrawn look and it's a nice idea that emits a nice atmosphere. Only real trouble I had was the items taking too long to spawn back in if you fail, it's easier to just reset, but other than that it was a sweet little deal.
Really enjoyed the game, the soundtrack and visuals are very immersive, it's quite challenging and pretty satisfiying to see the fire grow!
