How does your game fit the theme?
The countdown is both your health and your ammunition. You begin with 30 seconds, spend time to freeze the battlefield, and earn seconds back by priming and detonating enemies. If the ledger reaches zero, the Collector ends your run.

Creative! I also liked the look, and it was quite fascinating. The music just didn’t like it at all. Good luck to you!

Awesome game! Super fun and creative!

Developer

Hey, thanks for playing the game! Glad to know that you found it fun!

The game feels snappy and fun. Built on web tech, it's impressive. Furthermore, a fantastic mechanism of using health and weapon, & linking it with the risk and reward path also felt new. Overall, a solid and new approach of gameplay, applause.

Developer

Web isn't really my go to, but the idea I had in my head felt too simple to use Unity. Hence, the web route. It was a new challenge with figuring out different parts of it. Makes me happy to know that you had fun and like the approach!

Submitted(+1)

I really liked the aesthetic of it and how satisfying the chain reactions of the enemies exploding was!

Developer

Clean satisfaction inducing basic loop was the goal! Glad you had fun! Thanks for trying it out!

What a well polished game with a unique and beautiful audial and visual style. The game loop is very satisfying and incorporates the theme of the game jam perfectly. Well done, especially for it being your first jam game and developing it in native web! I'm thoroughly impressed. And I must complement your well put together game page  too - an often overlooked yet important part of submissions.

Developer

Honestly, I'm still very surprised seeing all the comments because to me, it felt like I'm going for a much simpler and single mechanic direction. Wholeheartedly appreciate the kind words and knowing that you liked it! Thank you so much for trying it out!

Great game with fun gameplay loop and lots of "juicy" effects. Would be interesting if there was some kind of upgrade system, but as it stands the main game is fun enough :D

Developer(+1)

I really wanted to do the upgrade system after each sector, alas, time was not on my side. Had too much going on, barely managed to finish this. I'm glad to know that you liked it! Thank you!!!!

Wow, what a game! I love how the theme is interpreted here, and killing enemies is so satisfying! Both Audio and Visual are very well made, and the game offers good challenge. Amazing creation, will play again. Great job!

Developer(+1)

Makes me really happy knowing that you liked my take on theme and also that you are willing to play again! Thank you!!! <3

Everything in this game is really satisfying. The simple art goes a long way and the sound effects are perfect. Its also a really unique take on the theme where you have to spend time to get more time and score. I like it a lot!

Developer

Glad to know that you liked it so much! Thanks for trying it out and the praises! <3

Really fun and addicting!

Developer

Haha, happy to see that you are liking it. There’s a leaderboard to show off if you feel like it! Thanks for trying out my game!

This game works really well for the theme. The UI is very clean and the level of polish shows! I think this could translate really well into a mobile game. Great job.

Developer(+1)

Something with literal time, that’s the first thought that crossed my mind when I saw the jam theme. While it is not fine tuned for mobile devices yet, you can play this version on mobile right now!

Again, thanks for the feedback. Feels really nice knowing that my small attempt at first jam is being well received by most. Thank you for trying it out!

Submitted(+1)

For a first jam this is a fantastic entry. I would be very proud in your shoes.

The level of polish is impressive! I really dig this art style.

Nicely done!

Developer

A decent chunk of time went in polishing the single basic mechanic and the game feel around if. I’m glad that you liked it! Thank you for trying it out!

This was genuinely such, such a blast to play! I knew I would love the game as soon as I saw some of the screenshots, your UI design and the game feel was amazing to me. I know some folks might prefer having more juice but to me I think it's at the perfect level especially with the artstyle - it isn't overwhelming and it feels incredibly clean. Gameplay was also so fun and fit the theme so well, it's just so satisfying all around

Amazing work, I love aesthetically clean games like this :)

Developer

Really appreciate you taking the time to try out my game. It was hard for me balance if I wanted a bit more juice or a bit less, quite a dillemma. Glad to know that you had fun and enjoyed playing it!

Cool mechanic, and it runs smoothly as hell, nice work! I found the text to be a bit too obtuse, 'Follow Instrument' and such, it didn't really explain enough about what I had to do or the state of the level. I get that it was trying to be in-universe, but it felt a bit much for me.

Nice and juicy though, well done!

Developer

Appreciate your feedback! I agree that parts of the game are ill explained and I realized it a bit too late to fix. Definitely keeping notes and will do a post-jam version that addresses these issues. Thanks for trying this out!

Submitted(+1)

I liked the gameplay and the game is very well polished, though I would juice the charging up for the time stop to make it more dramatic.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Would definitely add that to my list for a post-jam version! Thank you for trying it out!

absolutely loved it. The idea is so simple but addictive. Love the animations as well! Job well done!

Developer

Happy to see that you liked the game! Thank you for trying it out!

Great little mechanic that you honed down to a super tight experience. The level of polish makes it easy to imagine an expanded version of this! This would be a stellar 10th jam entry, not to mention 1st. Have not heard of WebAudio, but will have to look into how that works, sound effects were a perfect match for the aesthetic.

Developer

Thank you so much for the kind words. Glad to know that you liked it! I do plan on extending this game in a post-jam version accumulating all the feedback I get throughout. Thanks again!

Super clean and polished, and lining them up and popping them in sequence is incredibly satisfying. Really cool ry!

Developer

Glad to know that you liked it! Thank you for trying out the game! <3

Watching the cascading effect is sooo satisfying! Great job!

Developer

Cascading effect has been one of the core ideas where this originated from. Glad to see that it caught your eye.

Thanks for trying out my game!
