Holy smokes batman :D I played for like 40 min XD

I like platformer games especially hard ones, but there is other games I need to check out before the voting ends. The keyboard controls are a little off. Try WASD and JKL if you make a platformer again. Most platformers use that :) The game was on the hard side but there is an audience for it like me :) But I think its a good idea to include a hard mode like celeste and super meat boy.

I got stuck on this level . But well made game. You should be proud and thank you for making this.

Oh yhea before I forget. The music fits the game really well and the sounds are nice to listen to like the jump and death. The colour palate you chose is also very nice and the game is very nice to look at.

congrats, I think you made it farther than anyone one else who’s played lol. I ended up not having too much time to make levels so the difficulty curve is pretty whack, but in my opinion level 8 was the hardest one so the fact you managed to beat it is pretty impressive, thanks for playing my game

Very cool platformer with lots of techniques to learn. It's really fun to play and well tutorialised, but a bit too difficult. I like how the countdown sits in the background, I haven't seen other games do that.

Very cool entry , count down is real! Art fits perfectly ,so is the music .

It reminds a bit of Super Meat Boy and Celeste at the same time . The controls need some tweaking and maybe introduction of new mechanics should have a little softer learning curve , but overall, good game ! 💪🏻

Very nice Celeste-style gameplay, though the implementation of Supers (dash-jumps) is really hard to get down. Whether or not my dash stays afterwards seems almost to be based on random chance, especially when there's no visual feedback indicating whether or not you have a dash. Other than that, cool entry with a lot of charm!

The game looks really cool but it needs a lot of time to master. I don’t have enough Celeste hours to get beyond the first saw level. The graphics looks amazing and the levels look well designed.

Submitted

the game feels hard to control, especially when dash needs press up but space is for jump. The pixel graphic is simple but well polished, and the level design is straight but challenging.

Quite interesting twist on Super Meat Boy. I think, for such difficult genre the controls are polished very nicely (especially for a jam game)! Good job!

Submitted

Really cool game, but you should've mentioned that you regain your dash after doing a dash jump.

Sound effects are on point, level design is clear and fun, multiple ways to find solutions... great game (especially if you like some difficult levels).

Pretty tricky, but the art, music, and actual mechanics were very fun! I appreciated the tutorial video. Great game!

It was a great game, I could tell that it was probably inspired by celeste lol just like mine. I thought it was pretty good with movement and game feel! The keyboard controls were a bit weird tho my hand was very uncomfortable whilst playing but I still trudged through because I enjoyed the game too much lol! Few things tho, 1. The timer per room being variable(changing/not constant) was weird and hard to keep track of and 2. Things that added to your time like saw were also not very clear. But still I enjoyed it! Great job!

Yea i just started playing celeste like a week and half ago, it definitely influenced what I made lol. I was using a controller for most of my playtesting so thats probably why the keyboard layout ended up feeling that way, another reason why getting people to test your game is important -_-

For sure lol. I enjoyed it tho great job!

This is a great game, but is brutally difficult for me on KBM. I am almost never better on controller at games, but this actually required me to get one out. I think the core issue was having to do everything on just my left hand on KBM, whereas your controller bindings actually let me use two hands.
Cool art style, and I liked the music, sound effects were little too much for my taste.
Nice entry.

I never really thought about how letting people use both their hands would make it feel better, makes a lot of sense though. And yea, definitely didnt do as good a job of balancing difficulty as you guys lol, something I'll definitely be thinking about more next time

I tend to rest my pinky finger and thumb a few milimeters above shift and space, so it was really really hard for me to wall dashes. (A problem I didn't have in the Ori games or Hollow Knight & Silksong.) I think it was just your keybindings. One of those things you can't really notice until it affects someone, no judgement whatsover. Your game is still really cool, and thanks for the kind words.

Wow we both made really hard games (in my opinion at least xD) The polish is excellent and the art is fantastic. I feel like if I was better at it, id play it for hours. One small thing (skill issue) is that it's a bit hard to see the walls and where I can jump off.

This is definitely one of the most fun and polished entries I've seen in the jam so far, great job!

Only gripe is the dash jump feels kinda finicky but thats about it

I'm actively trash at this sort of game, so it binned me, but I can't help but see the high level of polish in the movement, visual, and sound. Definitely a worthy contribution to the jam!

Thanks for checking out our game. Really enjoyed ripping around in this one! Concept not so original, but the engine is great for a nice, fast-paced little precision platformer.

Submitted(+2)

Really snappy to play! This reminded me of Celeste in a good way! I also like how the timer didn't start until you moved. It helped me out in reading the tutorial and figuring out the maps. Great work!

love the pixel art and animations! super cool level design I was struggling ngl but it might be a skill issue on my part. really sweet game!

Submitted(+2)

Great game. The looks, animations and juice as many people call it were well executed. Thought the dash was like Celeste for a long time. A short explaination would have been nice. Also the knowback from the saws sometimes felt a bit random leading to moments where I thought I did the same thing again but got a very different result making me die a lot with the very precise timer. Still had a lot of fun. Nice work.

Fun little game with cool pixel art and nice music! The timer could be a bit more forgiving, but otherwise, great game!
