Fun game with great sound :D
This is an absolutely fun game. The core gameplay is really solid, I made it all the way to wave 25.
My only piece of feedback is that the countdown theme could have been integrated a bit deeper. I noticed that the second frog explodes when its timer runs out, which is an awesome mechanic, expanding that idea so that more frogs have unique effects when their countdowns hit zero would be great, like a "last stand" where they shoot faster, or having the ice frogs freeze enemies around them when they expire.
I also think some more visual feedback could help understanding when we're taking damage or when the lily is about to expire, and also the balance could use some tweaks. Still, a fantastic submission. I really enjoyed this.
Super cute pixel art and cool take on tower defense. It was fun to keep playing just to see how all the different frogs operated. Though, I'll also admit... that poor frog on the game over screen made me sad.

I watched the stream, and I have to say I was really surprised to only see you use only 2 out of the 4 frogs. Is there any reason why you didn't want to use the other frogs ?
That's a good question tbh I didn't know what I they did exactly if i recall correctly and i felt like the 2 frogs were working fine??
It took me a little bit to get into a rhythm, I kept overspending and running out of money for frogs. But once I did, it was really satisfying and fun! Great job!

The concept in this game of a tower defense where towers are on timers is brilliant, and has a ton of room to be expanded upon. The art style is great and the music/sfx are wonderful (I laughed at the insane amount of reverb on the death screen). It could definitely be made more difficult, such as by making towers cost more (or enemies give less coins), or make the lily repair cost increase exponentially to some degree. Also tougher enemies. Still, I really like this one!

Totally feel that, each year we've ended up with games that are either way too hard or way too easy, difficulty is a very hard thing to refine in such a short time period

Saw this game on stream before playing it myself. Kinda sad, because I think it robbed me a bit of the frantic/chaotic feeling at the start. Ninja + Ice Frog is just too op I think... Still pretty much a flawless game for this jam. Great job!

Super appealing visuals, really polished and fun. My only complaint would be the fact that the pixel sizes are not matching for some of the sprites. Other than that, it's beautifully done!
yeah we scaled some stuff in the rush, I wanted to fix it with a shader but I had no time to focus on details. Good catch though !!!

It's a matter of taste, of course, but I don't like the timer on the towers. I understand it's for a jam, but if you continue making the game, think about it. I'd love for the frog towers to be upgradeable. Haha.
