Great game, although I'm not a big fun of this genre, I still liked it a lot, the story was interesting and it was quite unique playing as the guy with mental issues, it was quite scary actually. And most of all I liked the artwork, the characters and environments are very beautiful, I wish I could draw that good... Awesome game, good job!

Very nice character design and environment!

I really liked this one. It really reminds me of ddlc, one of my favourite games! Also, I really liked the piano music in the backround. I actually made some piano peices that I played and used in my game!

A really well written story. I was fully immersed and constantly asking myself what I would say or do if I was Jeremiah. 5/5 narrative good job!

We need more Jeremiahs in this world

Story so good had to get both endings. Massive congrats on this, the art and storytelling were incredible, not to mention you had 4 days. Very well done!

By far the best narrative I have seen thus far, but damn the art is soooo good. How did you do all of that in only 4 days?!?! Also, Jeremiah is such an angel holy. How would anyone go through with the bad ending tho??? Anyways, great game!!!

Amazing art!
Not a visual novel fan usually, but this is seriously impressive for the time crunch.

Good job! :)

When their are descriptions, it feels weird to have them with the same font as the rest of the story

if put me a bit out of the story for a bit becuase i was wandering who where talking,

so everytime their were textes, i began to read it with a voice in my head (the voide of the character) and then realize it was description

not a big deal but i kept bothering while reading

Loved the counting of hours

I feel like you realy well played with the coutdown constraint,

And narratively speaking i alaways love when you see what hours latter

I feel like dialogues were a bit rough, maybe? like a bit on the nose sometimes?

But what was veryyyyy likable was the fact that we were able to makes choices!

That's such a big deal, especialy in a 4day jam

And it always feel better when you can interact with the story

The narrative anchors solidly on the count down and reveals more around it as it unfolds. Quite a tense narrative, I appreciated to twists and choices.

The art style is good, I like the music too. While I am not a fan of this game genre I got to the redemption ending.

Nice to see the game made in python, my submission is made using python too :)

I'm not really a fan of these kinds of games but i played through it and got the Redemption ending. I don't know who the people are who go for the bad routes ahaha. The story is pretty interesting and better written then i expected for a game jam game. Not my cup of tea but i can see you're good at this and a lot of work was put in :)

Thank you so muchhh for the reply!!

Interesting interpretation of the theme, and the hand-drawn artwork certainly is a plus.

Unfortunately, the narrative is a bit hard to enjoy and at times the individual dialogue boxes made it feel more sticky than the seemingly intended build in tension. Plus, the behaviour of Jeremiah in the redemption ending feels quite unnatural, him being pretty much fine with everything.

Then again, for a story written in such short time (and assuming you had to take the time to draw the artwork), it's a fine way to make the theme fit the genre.

Hi! Thanks a lot for taking the time to play and for leaving such honest and constructive feedback. I'm really glad you liked the hand-drawn artwork and the overall take on the theme!

Regarding Jeremiah's behavior in the redemption ending, I totally see why it might feel unnatural at first glance, but let me share my perspective: Jeremiah and Lucio are written as polar opposites, heavily inspired by Dostoevsky's The Brothers Karamazov. Jeremiah is meant to be a purely magnanimous character who represents ultimate hope and peace. I wanted him to forgive Lucio to show that hope can still be found even in the darkest places. Lucio himself is based on Raskolnikov from Crime and Punishment, someone who needs that level of grace to pull himself out of his lowest mental point.

I also hear you on the pacing of the dialogue boxes—writing and structuring all of this in just 48 hours was definitely a challenge, so feedback like yours is super helpful for my future projects.

Thanks again for playing and sharing your thoughts!
