How does your game fit the theme?
OMI - One More Island—is an incremental deck-building game where your ship's CORE is going to collapse at any second. Your goal is to reach an island to let it cool down before it happens. Or you can try to gain enough speed and accelerate even more. If the count comes to 0 and you are NOT safe on the ground of an island, the core is no more, and you lose.

i may repeat what others probably said, but it was confusing at first, however once u get the hang of it it is a really nice game, i enjoyed it for sure !

I love a good deck builder and this is a cool twist. As others have said, a tutorial would make onboarding easier but making a good tutorial is so challenging so I get why it's not really present here. Solid visuals and nice touches to keep the player invested. Good job!

good concept although it's a bit difficult or i couldn't get the hang of it, would be great to turn out into a full game!

I loved vibe of the game! Art, font and sprites of the card, buttons, icons is awesome looking. Colors that u chose is fitting 10/10. Also gameplay wasnt so clear for me on the beginning, it would be much easier if u bring more interactive tutorial, less text in dialogues and try to put player vision to the concrete button/feature/mechanic and describe it on example. I see how good synergy of all elements - so it will be nice to see this game in polished stage.

You did a great job, good luck with this project!

Interesting entry! At the beginning, it was a little bit overwhelming, but after a while the mechanics became much clearer. The idea is creative, the overall implementation is good, and I also liked the art style! Congrats on the submission!

Its been a nice one to play through. I was a bit overwhelmed at first, but once I got it, the gameplay was interesting.

The ideas are there and I can see how it operates in managing times, count downs, speed, and resources.

The art is nice, the situation and premise is interesting, thank you for submitting in the game jam!

Really cool concept, a little rough around the edges which made it hard to play, and a few spelling mistakes added to confusion. Overall the concept was cool, and I think it's a really interesting take on the countdown theme! c:

The onboarding is pretty overwhelming but the game itself is good. I liked the art and the narrative. Good job!

Got me clickin and draggin for longer than I intended to play. Some visual polish might've helped me understand the mechanics faster, but not too shabby of a take on the theme. Definitely lots of countdowns! Keep makin games :)

I'm a big fan of the primary colors against the black, sort of Tron-style. The visuals are definitely a big draw.

After taking a moment to understand the layout, I think the game is really easy to follow! pretty much make sure ship goes fast enough and dont blow up before landing xD

Good game!!

I can see what the game is trying to do, and I want to do the right things, but the UI is kinda stopping me. I'm not sure if the states are not being reset properly in code, or I'm just not understanding the core mechanics, even though I read the description. The sound, art style and colour palette are great, very pleasing to look at and this has a lot of potential if you can get a core gameplay loop going :)

i think this game has a very unique art style and mechanic that i haven't played before, but the UI is a little bit confusing

A lot of information at first, was a bit hard to follow but it all clicked.

I ran into a bug though where the UI with click anywhere didn't go away >.<

I am so impressed by the breadth of game that you were able to lay out here, it was interesting and challenging and with some effort I think could be turned into a polished experience!

The tutorial explains the mechanics quite well, in my opinion!

I love the character design of the flower man ^^. I really like that "abstract but not too much" art design

I played through the entire Jam version. My only regret is that you can play without having to make too many choices if you’ve got enough card slots (I bought so much time) but balancing is hard (especially during a jam) !

I like the little reflex element of stopping the boat on the island as it forces you to stay alert.

The UI was very overwhelming at start!

I was overwhelmed at first but once I understood it was really fun and impressive gameplay and really made me want to play it again and again!

I was completely lost at the beggining and for some reasong my mouse was warped like the screen was half the size so it took me a long while to get the hang of things, but it is impressive that you were able to make this in 4 days, I feel like the gameplay is so well thought.

This idea is great, at first I struggled to understand the mechanics but once you get good at it, you just want to keep playing! great work friend :)
